- Disgraced South Carolina Attorney Alex Murdagh was indicted for the murders of his wife and son. Maggie and Paul Murdaugh were found dead at their family hunting lodge in South Carolina last year. Alex Murdaugh called 911, claiming he discovered the bodies. Prosecutors say he shot his wife twice in the head and chest with a rifle and used a shotgun to kill his son. Alex Murdaugh admitted to hiring a would-be assassin to kill him so his surviving son could collect a life insurance payout.
How can a father have the heart to do this to his own family. This is beyond disgusting.

Where I live, our well known case is of a teenager who killed his whole family. His grandpa still visited him and forgave him.

At first when they reported his shooting, I thought someone was trying to kill his entire family, but the moment I heard his 911 call, I knew he was the murderer. There was no real worry or genuine fear in his voice. I only heard someone acting dramatic to sound believable.

I wish they had touched on how his son (the one murdered) caused a fatal boat crash while drunk and he and his brothers tried to quiet the witnesses. Also, a young (gay) man was murdered on his way home before that and the same lawyers claimed to want to represent the family. Don't even get me started on their house cleaner/nanny. That whole family has been known to get away with crimes so he probably figured he would get away with this too.

I have been intrigued by this family since the drunk boating accident involving his son Paul in which a young woman died. It is virtually impossible to keep up with the developments in this heartbreaking case.
I have said from Day One that he did this. He has no soul, to kill not only his wife, but his own son. What a horrible person.

his son and wife did not deserve to be murdered, but I watched the full murdaugh dynasty series on ID, & his son was responsible for the boat crash that happened, and he never got prosecuted because of the families wealth.

I think the father actually murdered the son bx he was embezzling tons of money and didn't have the finances to pay the lawyers to defend his son in court. The law says, if the person being prosecuted dies, the victims family can't continue the trial. I honestly believe that's why the father shot his son. It seems as though he shot his wife bc she wanted a divorce after she found out about all the embezzlement. It's all about money for him

This actually makes sense. He was in hot water with his wife and needed her gone. His son Paul was responsible for a boating murder which meant there were people out for revenge. His son that lived had no dirt so he lived. He thought manipulation could make it look like a revenge given their family history in SC. What he didn’t account for was the distance for a kill and it got him locked up. Overall, the devil is going to punish the entire Murdaugh family for their crimes. May the girl that Paul killed Rest In Peace.

Not only did the younger son crash the boat who killed a young woman, his brother, Buster, is alleging going to be under suspicion for beating up the gay teenager with a baseball bat. Not trying to start a rumor, but the autopsy showed is was very blunt force trauma to the head and zero evidence of a hit&run laying in the street. SC, apparently is no place to be gay.
Let's not forget their dead son was drunk driving a boat & killed a innocent girl.
And seemed unfazed by it too. It was even noted by the victim's boyfriend in the police recording while at the site of her death that he was snickering or smiling after he killed her. Like father like son

this!!! I saw the coverage of ABC´s 20/20 about the Murdaughs and the whole family was corrupt! I don´t feel sorry for them, but sorry for the girl one of his sons killed when he was a drunk ass. The family covered it up so they wouldn´t take responsibility.

Does anybody really feel bad though? because the sun was drunk on a boat and killed a lady in 2019 and mom and dad bought him alcohol and got him out of legal trouble the whole family was crazy and entitled.
