I use vegetable stock instead of plain water

I made this just last week and it was SOOO good!
Only changes I made were 2 cans stewed tomatoes, BEEF bouillon instead of chicken, and I added Italian seasoning and seasoning salt.
    Turned out fantastic 🙂

What I would like in the Crock-Pot recipes is healthy food. I'm disabled hard for me that's why I like Crock-Pot cooking.

I also have an OLD croc pot but I use a liner. Also helps during clean up.

Hey Kim just a hint …a dash of vinegar into your steaming bowl of soup sends the flavor over the top.
We always use vinegar with cabbage yummmm

I'm going to make this! I fell off the wagon and it ran over me! Starting again tomorrow. I love the Rada knives. There's a dealer in a flea market near my home and I've picked up several styles. The small cleaver is great for hacking through large sweet potatoes, squashes and cabbage.

I notice you don't use core, I have used cabbage and celery core in my veggie soup. My brother is combo of tomato juice and water.I use my mom's recipe, and now I am thinking I need to make a pot of soup over the weekend!

Looking good. I need to work on my weight for the new year. I like easy and this certainly is easy and having the soup every day for lunch makes sense to me. I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m going to be looking at the rest of your videos and hopefully that’ll help me in what I’m looking to do for myself and my health.

I too, fell off. Got some bad medical news in August and have been in a funk since. I guess I’m lucky, only put 5# back on, but I really need back on track. I was 3 # from goal, now 8#.😟. Crock pot recipes are wonderful. However, you didn’t mention high or low temp for how long, or how many servings and points final product is. I can’t wait to make this. Thank you.

Kim, I have been away from WW since it changed from freestyle to colors. I just watched your intro to 2022 program and was hoping there would be alot of details on the changes…its ok, I can figure them out. Started tracking today. Gonna make the WW Zero point chili and your vegetable soup to freeze for this week’s meals. I have missed your videos. Good to be back with you!

    A question ...
    If the cabbage is raw.
The bag of veggies and the tomatoes are pre-cooked.
Why not give the cabbage a couple if hours head start before added the other ingredients?
Seems to me the other veggies will end up mushy when all cooked together.

    • @PrepWhisperer
      @PrepWhisperer  Год назад +1

You can do that. I don’t have the issue with anything getting mushy but that’s a great idea !!
