I’m actually in college for Elementary Education, but I’m thinking about taking this step to see how I navigate the classroom experience. I think it’ll help with my confidence.
Loved this video very informative! Definitely helps me feel better about working in the school system! I’m a lunch aide right now. I’d love to work my way up to An intructional para or an after school aide! You really inspire me to be better!
Paraprofessional here! 3 1/2 years experience!also exciting to see Someone close to my age in this field (28) lol definitely a fun field to be in! I hope to gain a RBT cert this year and maybe go back to school. Also don’t worry I am soft spoken as well it’s time where I was told to speak up as well it’s all a learning experience .. but this was a great video! Subscribing 🥰
Thank you, and that's awesome your a paraprofessional! Yes, I agree it's a very fun field to be in. I've learned and had so many amazing memories. That's great, I hope you can get your RBT certificate, and go back to school. I'm in the same boat as you trying to finish my school. I had a baby, so it's been hard. Hopefully soon I can get my BA. Good luck on your teaching journey! You got this! :)
This video was very informative and fun to watch! I have an interview this coming Monday and I feel so nervous, yet I cannot wait to experience such good things as you did. Are you still an IA and if not, what job do you have now?
Hi Nayely, good luck on your interview! You got this! Yes being an IA was the best job. You learn, and experience so many wonderful memories 😊 I'm not an IA. I just had a baby, so I'm enjoying time away. I hope to apply for a substitute position in the future. It would be nice to build on my teaching experience.
@@AishaLewis Thank you so much! I got the job! I am so nervous, as I have no experience in this field, my four children are my only experience with kids lol. I cannot wait to learn from the kids and hopefully be make a positive impact in their little lives (I will be in kindergarten). Congratulations, enjoy baby as much as possible, as they grow quickly! Good luck with all your future endeavors!
