Great content very informative. My A1C was at 14 about 3 years ago. Today its now at 6.9 without medication all natural. Regular daily excercise helped me lose weight and improved my overall fitness and energy levels. Cut back on processed foods and follow The doctors advice on your dietary meal plan. Remember with the right mindset and the right tools, anything is possible.

Well presented and informative video. Many people go into shock when diagnosed. You have shown that less is more. I am diabetic for over 40 years now. There is long term damage to my body but I still stand strong and get on with life. I hope other people can too. Just do the best you can.

@@helendejuan2598 of course you can. These are very helpful in the diabetic diet. Try to avoid ready made sauces usually full of sugar ans salt.
Yes, many people go into a shock when diagnosed with diabetes! However, I have family history and I have been careful what I put on my mouth. Despite that I did get a diagnosis in my late 40’s of pre diabetes. Unfortunately the doctors were only too quick to put me on medication. Now in my 60’s, I found a Clinic which specializes in helping reverse Type 2 diabetes! And within a year I’ve already cut back on the different medications and in the next year, actually get rid of all (there were three kinds - progressively). And many of these RUclips videos are extremely helpful in substituting regular foods and ingredients. As an Indian I’m extremely fond of traditional foods and flavours although I live in Toronto (Canada) for many years now. The information here and recipes in many others have made my life so joyful and my diabetes is well under control (around 6 mmols/L or about 108 mg/dL)
@@vidyadelvi2522 I am so happy for you. I know it can be reversed but there are no specialist doctors on this tiny island. I did a lot of research myself and lowered it. I have a lot of damage after 40 years. The problem no doctor in England or Cyprus does anything apart from bombarding you with yet more insulin. You need to go private and I have not got that kind of money.

This was very helpful and informative. I just went to do my DOT physical and my A1C was 10.7 so I need to start all of these things now. Spent too long not really paying attention to all the weight I was gaining, used to be way over 300lbs I'm down to 250, just need to further adjust my diet and watch out for sugars that I wasn't really paying attention to like I should. Stress is one of the main cause for diabetes,i'm 28 years old , i got married 2 year ago and my mother in law gave me so much stress I can't tell you, i was tested positive for type 2 diabetes after 5 months of marriage. Always take care of your mental health .

I ate a lot of watermelon today, and my sugar levels went down to 5. Normally they are anywhere from 10_19. So we can enjoy watermelon.
I eat all fruits a mango is a must in summer just avoid jack fruit . I love fruits n dry fruits also but i don like much of green vegetables n we bengalis r hard core non veg eaters .

Thanks a lot ma'am for the positive note in end, indeed. My blood sugar is little high as doctor said it's prediabetes, I'm constantly losing my weight and especially my face is weakening day by day,I'm not consuming that much sugar in my routine, all the food I'm consuming is salan roti of whole wheat and fresh fruits, but I'm surprised how my blood sugar is high it's 100 - 131 fasting in the morning and after meals it's normal.
If you switch to keto diet
Your sugar glucose levels will come down
Because I 2019 my glucose levels were high I was pre Diabetic
I discussed with my Doctor that I will change my eat habits
I researched and came across
Dr Ken Berry on here on RUclips
And thank God I did
I immediately started the keto diet end of 2019
And todate 2021
I am no longer pre Diabetic
My glucose levels are normal
This is purely down to going low carbs
Because most of the fruits are full of sugar and the wheat spikes your sugar levels
for your information, 101-131 not high sugar ..it’s normal
