Great video! That scene with the blue car is forever burned into my mind, the composition and colors were unreal. great find!
Also, its nuts that the quality of these lenses keeps going up while the prices keep going down...especially considering the inflation going on with everything else...I suppose its a sign from the universe that its simply a good financial decision to go into photography and videography ... (said no one ever....until now)

I bought some for my r7 but I found myself using them on my R6ii and r5c cropping in using electronic stabilizer. The 50 is great because it covers the frame up u til the last 1/3 of the focus range.

Some people don’t like the vintage look. This is a “clean” look without caveats.

This makes no sense. The Sirui cost roughly the same, but give you a stop and a half more light. They should be 299 for it to make sense, that's how spoiled we are. Actually the only reason why I would buy this as opposed to the Sirui is the fact the Sirui have no dampening when you rotate them and have a terrible clicking sound that clips the audio when you reach the end. I heard the 16 is improved, but I'm not sure about that. Do the 7 Artisans make the clicking sound?

I haven't used the Sirui lenses so I can't comment on how they compare. There might be something with the image quality or character that make you want one lens or the other. Speed of the lens isn't everything. When the focus gets to the end it makes a solid sound. I think you can hear it in the build quality section of this video.

@matango1979 I'm sorry, but you're missing the point. Aperture isn't the only thing to take into consideration, but if you wanna go down this route, you can compare Sirui NightWalker with the 7Artisans Vision series. Both have extremely fast aperture, are cheap as heck and cover super 35 sensors, in exchange they are nowhere near as consistent among themselves and should be treated as independent lenses within a same set, just like regular still lenses.
The Hope series from 7Artisans were designed in order to be more consistent among the set itself. And I think they have succeeded with that, something that you have to go on a higher budget price even with Chinese manufacturers (NiSi Athena Primes come to mind as extremely consistent among them, but they're more expensive than this set).
If you want an extremely fast lens set that it is also consistent, you can take a look at the new Laowa Argus Cine lenses since they're all T1.0, consistent in design and color. Drawback is that they can only go up to 45mm, which is an extremely short distance even for Super 35.
