I’ve been waiting for you to review these series lenses as I’ve seen them and it’s has a really competitive price. I already have the 7Artisans Vision series so I’m curious on how they stand against them. Awesome! Thank you so much for the great review. Keep this videos coming!
Very good video! The example images are incredible as always. I currently have the Vision series, I love its luminosity and its "character". Without a doubt these have a more modern look and make up for the lack of focal lengths of the Vision series. You who have tried both series, do you think this Hope series is better? It's a shame that 7artisans left the Vision series there.
I'm looking at getting these lenses for an A7 IV, but I'm tossing get three of a variety rather than the 35,50,85 mm kit. That being said, pairing with a full frame, what are your recommendations between the 10mm and the 16mm?
Nice to have another budget option, but T2.1 on s35 sensor is not fast enough. Laowa Argus s35 T1 are more expensive but have unique look at T1 and crazy sharp from T1.4
Plenty fast enough for filmmaker who light scenes. “Run and gun” videographers probably shouldn’t even use cinema lenses. I light every scene when using cinema glass and so should every one else who takes the image seriously
@@JasonMorrisphotocinemait's nice to have fast wide tho. So you can close iris and still get decent amount of light. And you can't always light for very wide scene
Could I use these on Sony Full frame like my A7S2 in apsc mode or would I be better saving for full frame Cine lenses for that. I also have my trusty GH6 M43
im ready for these vs sirui nightwalker

Im just glad cinema lenses are becoming more obtainable
You are the second channel promoting these lenses
Thanks, Jason! I am still working on my review. It will be out very soon.
Can't unsee that font ☠
Haha I know right: but great glass though
Great review ! Your channel is so cool, which filter reference do you use for thi lens ?
no EF? thats upsetting.
Was looking at these not so long ago for my FX-30, let's see the review and decide to buy or not :D

damn bold colours and font!
Halloween lenses! The look great to me.
If you could only have one, would you choose the Nightwalkers or these?
T1.2 is very useful on the Nightwalker but T2.1 is enough for me as I light my scenes and never usually run and gun
So would you say its a great lens to buy?

@@JasonMorrisphotocinema exactly, 24-70 for my run and gun

Everything fine except lack of PL mount version
Yeah the only thing I can think of is more market in the E, X, R and m43 mounts

Can u share the link for focus handle?
No PL or EF Mount. Why??
Good question. Just means more moulds to make for mounts that don’t get purchased as often as E, X, R and M43
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema As an Rf user I rather have Ef mount. So I can have the same lens on deferent camera brands and mounts.
i dont know, i cant see a difference between this lenses and a photo one. Seem like they lack of character
Wish they made this for M43
They did
They do
