Jason always had soooo much energy. Thumbs up FOR JASON !!!!
During Kirks solo they went backstage and ripped a fat line! Just joking. I love this period. Jason was the best.
Jason galloping is gold
this may be one of the best performances of metallica.
For a live performance, you can hear the bass so well,so nice ,yes
the bass sound killer here
Jorge Sanchez like shit
Humberto Pavón tu mama
The mix was good.
@@M0M... More consistent? Yes. Sounds better? That's a matter of personal opinion. Myself, I'll take the tone of a real amp over digital modeling any day.
My goodness, how I miss Jason's background vocals, energy, and stage presence. Things just haven't been the same since he left.
Agreed man.
things change shut up and be happy they still rocking.
@@Godloveszaza take your own advice and shut up
This Tama drum kit is absolutely powerful. I've akways been in love with it lol. Impressive one.
i like the back vocals of jason is a mix of black metal into the heavy metal voice of james
Was that a demonic horse getting shot at the beginning?
@@NatureLover-cc2hf that's the joke
0:18 buena entrada de Lars....
+Jorge Lopez like Jesus on his way to fame YEAH !!!
lol
JAJAJA se pasó de verga Lars xd
@@laxex6731 Confirmo JAJJSJJAJJ
0:16 Lars - FUCK FUCK FUCK, oh, on time. :D
Pure rage, something Metallica had so much in this period. (In MY opinion) :)
It has to do with the creator of the song. Listen to this ruclips.net/video/bnKySX8_Umk/видео.html
lars looks cool as fuck in this vid
I was there!!!! It was amazing! And Jason, such a mad guy. I saw Metallica 2010 at Sonisphere, the 1993 line up with Jason was much better.
Obviously (
that live sound recording.... pure guitar tones here. how they can't record like this nowdays ?
They can. They just choose not to.
They dont use boogies live nowdays..
Too much modelling axefx and stuff
@@giorgosk2884 maybe u dont gonna notice this but metallica used Chorus Reverb and delay for tons of his songs with the boogie's
@@lasang.. I know but the dry gain tones are different from a real tube amp..James had the ++ mod too in his boogie
good question
nowadays they sound artifficial and generic
that's dedication folks. ALmost no voice left but still giving his all
Kurks horse screeching was magnificent
La etapa Dorada que jamás , jamás regresará ... Jason Newsted suena Poderoso
Dorada ? 1981-83
james sounded sick in this performance
1:13
His voice was shot by this part of the tour.
whatta bass!!!!!! Killer!!!!
Jason rocks
Jesus on drums
Satan on bass
Jack sparrow in lead guitar
Lion on rhythm guitar and vocals
you've got to love how lars just flies in! :D
will always be the best band ever made
Back in the time when was possible to hear the bass sound in a Metallica song.
Imagine if they played Hit the Lights, Phantom Lord, the midsection to the four horsemen, Fight Fire With Fire, Ride the lightning, Trapped Under Ice, Escape, Leper Messiah, Damage Inc, The Frayed Ends of Sanity and Dyers Eve at this show, and that Lars had a Ride Cymbal in his set up.
Maybe in an alternative universe that happened, but most people wouldn’t handle that level of epicness
@@Misty_Callie is there a portal to that universe by any chance?
Go sleep bro maybe you will see in your dreams
When life was awesome...when Metallica truly killed it & ruled!!
Awesome setlist and Pro shot! Sick. Haaa the headbanger guy at 0:39 LOL
10 years later : nice catch 😀
The Four Horsemen = metallica :)
@@NatureLover-cc2hf and without dave
I was there somewhere in the crowd! One of the best concert I have seen!
Bring back Metallica with Jason!!!
I love the sounds of the guitars :D
Playing it like the speed of the mechanix live
Metallica+Bass Pick=Metallica
What about Cliff or Rob then
@AndJustieForMexico He cut it off because the intense smoke and the heat from the lights of 300+ shows destroyed his hair. I read it in an interview in some magazine ages ago.
The Four Horsemen (Metallica) should be in TF5 Transformers 5.
It already was in one X-Men movie, can't remember the title.
X-men apocalypse. That part makes the whole movie worth it.
Love metallica.\m/. Great concert great song
Dave Mustaine had co-writing credits on The Four Horsemen, Jump in the fire, Phantom Lord, metal militia, Ride the lightning and The Call of ktulu. So he co-wrote six songs along with Ulrich and Hetfield. Get your facts straight.
0:00 Lars: Where the fuck are my drumsticks? D:
0:07 Lars: Please Kirk, do a longer guitar solo, I don't find my drumsticks D:
0:14 Lars: I found it :D
0:16 James: We can't wait more Lars, C'mon
0:17 Lars: Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit
0:19 Lars: FUCK YEAH
Metallica Good Performance Of The Song Called The Four Horsemen Performed Live In Basel Switzerland 🇨🇭 on June 20 1993.

2:08 hahahaha Jason is the best!!!
Watch the sunlight fade away at 0:12, right when the opening solo finishes...
3:02 "Time has taken a shit on you"!
jason!!! lml
Jason's vocals are sorely missed these days.
I have been there! The perfect concert...
I like how in 1993 they had the snakepit crowd area but in 1994/95/96/97/98/99 it wasn't there
I don't know if anyone has noticed it but after 1993 james looks kinda bigger(actually his arms),like he went to gym...what do you think?
lars estaba re exitado, como le da a esos platos por dios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Metallica forever!!!
The sweet times when they were at the top of their craft...
Still are
La mejor banda del puto mundo... arriba METALLICA carajo.
metallica were at their best with jason
RUN FOR YOUR LIIIIFE
Jason Newsted and special guests from Metallica (rare live shouts)
Wow, I was there in the crowd, 29 years ago
Yes. When Metallica were full of spunk and could take on the world. Sure, they lost a few old time fans coz of their musical direction but gained world wide recognition. Obviously, the down side of this is success is burnout, or not wanting to do this anymore. Maybe, they might have had attitude of, “Hey guys. We’ve made it.” We don’t have to push or prove ourselves anymore.” Hopefully, they get to grips with whatever direction they take and good luck to them.
@iScreamAimandFire yesss finally someone understands me
a hell of a stage
poha man lars e muito fick yea no ultimo seundo ele chegou na batera !
@lpoderoso muy bien..... esta perfecto! muy buen comentario man
The Mechanix. Megadeth cover. 🤘🏻
This is different song and fourhorsemen is better
Skipped the best part
Outside a few rare times. they've been skipping that part for many many times
If you want to see them play the mid section live, check out the live footage from 1983-1985.
@@russkate88 or the live performances from 2011 (San Francisco) or 2012/2013!!!
@@remastered-00-pl yes. Those one's aswell. But the better versions were from 1983 to 1985.
ahhh 1993, good ole times. 1 of the longest tour 'Tallica did! Metclub rules!!
@BrandonCrazyTV I think it's recorded right from the mixer that's why you don't hear the crowd
@ghost1233456 pyro explosion?
Thought my computer was gonna blue screen at the end
Wicked!!!🤘🏼
Kirk´s Brother below Lars drum set at 3:51
0:20 that was a flying cymbal!
Expression and speed is the privilege of the young. Therefore, thrash metal should be played by young people. Sounds and looks very powerful. Even Kirk Hammett seems like a cool guitarist
DAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, DAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,DAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....!
Lars at 2:39 SHIT that blow was rad!...
@naxon20 if its because they are quiet its because the audio does not include the crowd
2:09
LoL
Jason, please back to the Metallica!!!!!!
we miss you.
RUN LARS RUN!!
i was born 2 days after this concert :D
0:01 Rage Against The Machine moment.
0:01 Metallica Moment
jason used the e string to gallup instead of the 5th on a... i love it!
The intro in my opinion mimics a horse,, that's sweet :D
It was one of the horses of the four horsemen.
That a badass Dave Mustain song
Oh yea Peace Sells is good but your at the wrong video for that
This is pure fucking metal! I like the part between 0:00 and 5:10
cuando sera el dia que toquen el tema completo
Axel Manuel El 2011 lo hicieron, búscalo, lo cantaron con otro tipo...
Well ALL came here for 2:08! YEEEAH!
Mi Metallica in my heart
In your ass?
Why doesn't he use this guitar nowadays?
He does.
@mcschp who said i didnt notice that?? my point is that Metallica hasnt had albums as great as the ones Cliff Burton played in. Except ...And Justice For All i guess. Im just a Cliff fan and miss that head banging. I guess and its my opinion.
@TehSorso yea u got me there he wasnt considered in his songwriting. The only song i liked was the Unfogiven and King Nothing, but i dont know, they dropped down thieir speed on the songs. And truly this is my opinion and i respect ur comment also as well as everyones.
Thx for the update on St. Anger. xD
I can only enjoy this song at 1.25 speed ;)
The Four Horsemen Metallica mine = The Mechanix Megadeth mine
I Fucking love 1993 james hetfield.
run to the hills
