"Tank you very much." "Ok, Baso!" "Sung like dis."
Jason’s aggressive bass tone made the Metallica sound of that era.
Sounds awkward when the crowd is muted.
sounds like you're skyping with them, lol
Jason: Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey
Audience: ........
Jason: Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey
Audience:..........
I prefer it, I always wish there was an option to turn off the crowd.
Although the beginning bit was a bit awkward, but while the song is playing i'd rather not hear the audience
Absolutely
Love the sound of Jasons bass in the start. This whole intro is awesome. Makes my adrenaline flow through my veins and rape my brain!
"He hears the bass so loud!!"
more bass on this video, then the studio version of And justice for all...
rozzie101 That’s easy.
That drum roll at 4:14 love it!
I wish they'd have the bass this audible on studio recordings. Makes the songs sound so much better/heavier than with the bass lower in the mix.
Amazing that so many don't know that soundboard recordings don't pick up much audience, the crowd sound you hear is being picked up from the stage mics & is very low.
The snare tone is amazing
The white tama kit was the best Lars has ever sounded
From ze album Ride ze Lightning.
Jason !!!! Awesome 🤟
lars had a beard
vincent nadeau Lars had hair*
vincent nadeau he jesus
Thats just jesus lars was sick at the time
lars fucking handsome
@@soysoy4495 ,yeah really he is. But his height makes him more cute.
Love Jason's beginning
The bass lick at 1:20 is AMAZING!
A relatively still see young looking Metallica crew. What a sight. Of course at that time, with Jason on board.
Dude, at that point James' voice was dying, that was the truly James' voice
Lars was good on the drums in that concert
When he practiced
@@nirvana3048 he practiced good cocaine, like everybody else
@@metallurgico Best way of practice
@@metallurgico yea but around load/reload he had a stroke or brain aneurysm from cocaine or something blew his mind apart and he forgot how to play drums or even care
@@alex8449 lost most his hearing too.
0:00 YEAAAAAAAAAh
0:02 hey
Lars Ulrich is bad ass drummer, I met Lars in Los Angeles
He isn't Bad ass.....he is just bad
@@ironnads7975 nah u are bad lol u piece of shit u knw nothing abt music
Used to be..
@@ironnads7975 fuk u then punk GTFO out here then!!!!
@@ironnads7975 true lmao
0:00 that fucking scream holy fuck
you can hear clearly how his voice is really strained here. No wonder he lost it
Don't cry wolf Yes but he didn't completely lose it. 1996 is a awesome and good vocal year by james, it sounded like his 1991 voice again. And he was singing with a bad rasp technique here. 1999 was his best vocal year since 1996, 2003 wasn't bad either. After 2003 his voice sounded like shit. Probably because he didn't drink alcohol anymore. It took him 12 years to recover from it. And his voice now in 2016 sounds amazing, sounds a lot like the load and reload days ('96 - '97) and well sometimes it sounds like his '93 voice. He still got it.
RickGrimes41 in the 93 voice how come when hes interacting eith the crowd. like saying COME ON or YEAAHH hes got the rasp but doesnt he sings
@@nickdavis965 Controlled technique. He controls how much rasp he does
@@fedora997 oh yea tjat makes sense. Wasnt this around the time he destroyed his voice and began actual voice lessons? Hense him singing clean
I think his voice now is awesome
0:45 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
4 years before I was born... Wow. 🔥
Kirk Hammet is an aswome guitar player. Any one who says otherwise doesn't know what their talking about.
Totally agree!!
The bass intro is different its more melodic... Jason is the man!!
Incrível a energia que o Metallica passa para o público.
Essa música é sensacional tbem.
I love this song so much, one of my favorites of all time, there's no doubt about that.
metallica..!!!!

Jason newsted 🤘
the awes0me l0ud bass jas0n newsted..
Anger voice at the beginning. Nice touch..
Looking Jason perform, i do sometimes forget who is the lead in metallica jason or jame
AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much
Directly before James' voice started to give way.
Yea and around 2 years afted metallica had became soft
austin thompson yeah
Literary. later on in the concert on sanitarium he lost the grid and rasp.
austin thompson nope his voice blew out on garage inc. fact
+Tony Mullins
his voice blew out on many occasions. After recording kill em all, after recording RTL, during the recording of the black album, when recording so what in 1993, in early 1996 when he started singing like he used to on the black album tour, for a short preriod(that's when he changed his vocal style as well), 1997 after recording ReLoad, late 1999 and finally in 2003.
Awesome performance ! Damnn I want Kirks quitar, James's voice, Lars's drums sett and Jason's haedbanging when he had the long hair ! xD
I miss jason newsted
YES 🎸🎸🎸🎸 I WAS THERE IN FRONT METALLICA HELL ON STAGE AMAZING !!!!!
That must‘ve been awesome. My Mam was there aswell…
The scream in the very beginning gave me chills
AAAAAAAAAAAH...thank you very much lol
I was there! Great Pit!
amazing setlist ^^
I love it a lot
This concert really shows the transition James' voice went through.. he still had SOME of that thunderous edge, especially when he didn't have to sing WORDS :P At the same time, the voice is MUCH cleaner than just a year earlier..
Thank ya very much !! :D
tenk ya veri much
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
XDDDDDDDDDD!!!!
kirk was on fire 🤘
I was there. It was fucking great!!!
That bass yeahhh
I love the "thaaaaank you verrrry much"

1:40 James's running! So cool ^^
Metallica good Performance of the song called For Whom The Bell Tolls performed live in Basel Switzerland 🇨🇭 on June 20th 1993.
Una obra de arte indestructible
i love jason!!!!!!!
Thats the Metallica we like!
what a HUGE setlist..
Pra mim essa foi a melhor formação do Metallica !
Nessa época Lars destruía nesse kit da Tama, esse kit usado na turnê do Black Álbum foi o melhor e mais bruto que ele uso
k chevere es esta cancion ;)
Fucking love this song man
I Love James Guitar ^^
3:58 lights off lights ON Magnificent!!!!
Este grupo es el mejor del pt y jodido mundo los amo
La época Dorada de Metallica , q *jamás volverá....*
The way James says "Thank you verry much" lol
funny how James come out at :31 with a beer and at :36 throws it at Jason, BUT misses! HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Kirk's bit at the end was class.
4:13 James doing a slap on the guitar!! lol
@Metallihead22 they didn't mute it, it's a direct SBD recording so there's no audience noise.
3:59
Jason fucking kicks ass.. Great performance.. \m/
Yaaaaa !!!!! Bad fucking ass proformance
Πολύ καλό...
the bass solo is so, vacuummy :d
when the drummer is the biggest showman of the performance
love the way James slaps with his right hand around 4:12 \m/
0:00 these are the screams that damaged james voice
KICK ASS SONG!
James never should have cut his long hear,he cut his passion and agression on stage doing that
Damn, James' voice was shredded. Then again this was a looooong tour. Anyone's voice would be torched. James was a beast for lasting as long as he did vocally. Try doing old Metallica vocals with the rasp...you'll be hurting after 1 song, lol. This dude kicked ass vocally for a good 10 years before it started really going. Eh, getting old sucks.
Dont know why,but when James yells "What is it?" at the end, I imagined his kids knocking on the door during band practice
Y’all can say what y’all want but Lars 88-93 was very good.
Lars is one of my favorite drummers before he went kaplooey
jason sounded good in this one but the distortion he used back in 91 was the best hands down
🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻
🔥🤘🏼☠️
That wah pedal from jason came strait from hell!!
I don't think metallica went soft after the black album I think they were forced to adapt to how the music industry was changing,I also think it had a lot to do with James losing some of his vocal range
+SourSalsa true they went away from metal in those albums but I think the grunge movement had a lot to do with that
Robert Erlandson well said Robert.
lakebytheroad James blew his voice box and could not sing very well at the time but now it is way better
SourSalsa the only real metal song of that era was "Devil's Dance"
Load and Reload had some of the best James vocals. I agree that he lost some of his growl from And Justice from All and the Black Album
That has to be the most civilized crowd :P
this is when mettallica ruled the world BITCHESSSS HAHAHAHAHA......!!!!!!!!
J PEREZ They still rule.....but nobody can see their kingdom .. ...
Fukcin digital era...
Sos un capo q pode r re loco escuchan Roberto Gómez c de areco
Thank you so much. I found on ebay yes ıts 10000. But white is the monster I think.
presente CTM
Put it on 2X speed and imagine Metallica has a plane to catch at the end of the show.
This is gold 😂
hasta aqui 1993, metallica llego :(
I miss Newsted
cuando metallica ya corria con sus mejores exitos FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
