    Interesting to see a West Indian version of this meal, I'm Nigerian and we make a blended stew with bell pepper, tomato, scotch bonnet, onions, etc and then add the corned beef.

      Yes this is still one of my favourite comfort food stews. Ghanaians make it too. When i was a kid my mum would make up corned beef jollof rice and add corn then stir fry some cabbage on the side! Yum 😋

    It's crazy how corn beef used to be so cheap mainly a poor man's meal. Now that this is expensive like buying ground beef ridiculous.

    Lady, please use a fire resistant plastic spoon if you don't want your teflon to peel. The peeling is not healthy if it gets into your food.

    If you're going to use a specific country's recipe, stop saying its Caribbean recipe. It's a Jamaican way of cooking it.

      @TERRI-ANN'S KITCHEN You know that cornedbeef created this way was done by a Jamaican company first and cooked this way by Jamaicans, right? Even if all other islands do it like Jamaicans, it's still a Jamaican recipe adapted by some other Caribbean islands.

    • @sportreelz7025
      @sportreelz7025 Год назад

      @TERRI-ANN'S KITCHEN I have subscribed to your channel for a while, and yes, you are a great cook. There's no lie about that, but every island have their way of cooking the foods they share. If an island shares the same recipe, its mainly due to businesses like grace Kennedy, or people like you who watch/Google ways of cooking something, then create a video and slap a name tag on it, like Caribbean rice and peas made with coconut milk and scoth bonnet pepper, when it's actually a specific Caribbean country's recipe.
