Means a lot to me thanks! I’ll have more coming in the fall. It’s been a hectic summer.

What equipment do you use for for this video? It sounds like a million dollar studio lol

I agree with everything in this video.
While I went the Antelope route (which is similar to the UAD interfaces and which I don't recommend for the vast majority of people.) For voice over, it's so, so great having so many different plugins. Also great for general audio post productions.
I sold the first Rodecaster and just rent the Rodecaster pro 2 whenever I need it.

Now I need that so I can hook up my Apollo just for my vocal chain and the computers. 😂❤ so I can have real faders and sounds pads 😂❤

I was considering the Apollo before, but the thunderbolt 3 requirement threw me for a loop. My motherboard doesn't support it. Maybe go the Rodecaster Duo route. We'll see.

I have the first gen RCP, returned the RCP2 because when you have all the processing on, the latency was too distracting for me. I know this doesn't bother most, but for me, I just kept my first gen Rodecaster pro.

Hi, do mean the audio is ahead of the video or that the video is ahead of the audio?

@@petermcginty3636 Actually, when you have the processing on, there is a delay from when you speak and you hear yourself in the headphones. Around 6ms. That's a lot. This is really distracting for me personally as I produce a radio show and cannot afford to have any latency. No video involved.

      Latency is annoying

Really helpful thanks. I picked up a twin x quad thunderbolt 2 version with some nifty plugins but my ignorance of the Apollo’s sophistication nearly had me in fits. It really showed me how little I know about this stuff. If I was doing it again I’d probably go for the RCP2 (I sold an RCP1 to help buy the Apollo) because of the relative simplicity of set up. Any plans to do an Apollo setup tutorial for Streamers?

Thanks Brodie. So, if i wanted to go all out, and had plenty of $$ to burn, i could run my mic through the Apollo and then run the Apollo through the RCP2!
