Very nice car, but most Rolls Royce’s are… what you need to look for are two things , service record book , and previous owners , if the car had 1-2 previous owners, and service book with all the regular maintenance and services recorded , you’re pretty safe , plus depending on miles, there is certain things that should have been addressed and fixed , because if they’re not, you’re about to get stuck with fixing them , and if you do , those $70K will turn into $100K - $120K very fast … and then it won’t be a bargain, as it appeared to be at first …

I have a 2014 32k miles regular maintenance and haven’t had any issues whatsoever. Drivetrain light once but it was fixed fast. Most parts are interchangeable with the bmw 7 series. So you could use all bmw parts for replacement if you want it’s the same just not the rolls Royce name.
Just buy a bmw 7 series
A Very Important rule of thumb to remember is, if you Can't afford the maintenance & insurance of a brand new Rolls, then you probably can't afford a used one because these cost don't really change.

Dude you do not get more in this 13 year old car than you'd get in a brand new S Class. You've been smoking that stuff. All you get is the name Rolls Royce on a glorified 7 Series chassis. But if a person wants an "affordable" Rolls, from a price perspective, it's a good deal, but not from a maintenance perspective.
Used s class or 7 series or Audi a8 is a much better option - rolls and Bentley are far too expensive
Some say it's a Rolls Royce, others ( who know better ) say it's a BMW 7 Series in a party frock!

Really cool car - you are right, what a great deal! Especially when "normal cars" Rav4's and things are in the 40's. Maintenance on this wouldn't scare me any real difference than an equally old 7-series/S-Class/Range Rover... It's a BMW at the end of the day (in this case, that's a good thing) so I trust it as a legitimately engineered, quality car - not necessarily what I'd say about a Rolls back in the day. Still a stunner and most people don't know RR's lineup enough to know it's not brand new.
Exactly! You’re right people are going to assume you spent 300k on it instead of 70k. However, Basic maintenance is going to be pretty expensive unless you do it yourself lol
