In the 70s and 80, u could get real cool trinkets and toys that had these kind of movements. They had a lot of cool stuff at the local Famous Barr, Macy's and some real cool toy stores, especially around Christmas. Back then, many of them would go for anywhere from $20 to $200 for the more expensive stuff. Couldn't imagine a watch going for 1 mill today. Really is an insane and sick world we live in. So much buying power in the hands of so few is the reason markets like this exist. 1 million watch for someone who has everything. Meanwhile there are people living on the streets not far away. Not the world that was envisioned back then.
