- Rebuilding the interior of this camper was a massive undertaking and took a lot more work than I was expecting. It turned out way better than I could have imagined when I first set out to rebuild this thing.

The amount of time & effort you’ve spent on this rebuild is mind boggling. I seriously can not wait for the maiden voyage. Yer an inspiration to many, my friend. Keep it up!
It has indeed been a lot of time! Thanks for tuning in on the journey. First outing video should be coming here in the next week or two 🙂 Cheers!
Wow, a lot of effort and it shows. A trick i heard for the Lagun table mount is not to center it on the table or wall as an offset mount provides more options on positions
Thanks! Good tip! It works well where it’s at now, but could see how one side of the other would provide some different movement options
Nicely done!
Thank you!
Epic mate 🙌🏽👍
Thank you!
Wow, that turned out amazing. You're going to love camping in it. Looking forward to seeing you out!
Thank you! I am quite happy with it. Already spent a night in it, that video should be out soon!
Heck of a build , one long journey, well worth the time you spent on it. Looking forward to you next trip video. Thanks.
So happy to be mostly done 🙂 thanks for watching! Trip vid should be soon.
Nice Job! It turned out beautiful, now just minor tweaks and enjoyment, well done.
Thank you!
Such a cool build! Thanks for sharing the progress!
Thanks so much! Thank you for watching!
Great job on the rebuild. I like how you ended up taking it all apart and starting over. I've done similar things and it does take a lot of thinking and planning but in the end you get exactly what you want. Can't wait to see it out on adventures!
Thank you! Yeah it needed a complete redo. I just went a little further than I originally wanted to 🙂. Thank you for tuning in!
Outstanding! You are an amazing and thoughtful craftsman. You’ve made this way better than new. I’m enjoying all your content on the channel and always look forward to the next episode. Keep up the great work, you are quite inspiring. Cheers!
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks for following along and glad you are enjoying the videos! Cheers 🙂
Great job. It was awesome following you throughout.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the series!
Damn bro, MIT? Harvard? You have an incredible mind my friend.....Absolutely beautiful build.....You could make a fortune designing these things, however based on your car I'm sure you're killing it at work. VERY genius work brother.....
Haha! Lots of Google, RUclips and trial and error. It would be fun to design interiors for these and I did have that thought! I appreciate the kind words man, cheers!
I already said contratz on Insta, but damn! What a great job you did. Enjoy your hard work.
Thank you! Thanks for following along!
Damn!!!!!!
It looks great, good job!
Thank you!
it been great to watch you work through all these projects. those 3D printed mounts are so choice. can you help me find a pair please? The route I took is not as strong as yours and needs the fine tuning you've done. really fantastic work. thank you for sharing your work with us. I loof forward to your reply. maybe we can work somthing out if you printed them yourself.
Thank you
Matthew
Thank you! I will be listing the 3D prints on my Etsy store page here this weekend and you will be able to buy some through there! I’ll share a link when it’s ready
@@pnwxplore thank you so much I look forward to getting a pair
@@pnwxplore hey there. did you get the store up and running ? Id love to buy some of your awesome mounts please. thanks for your time and sharing with us all!
@@matthewgarcia4404 Hey, sorry it took so long, you can find them here - www.etsy.com/listing/1522281408/four-wheel-camper-conduit-lift-panel
Camper looks killer my guy. I’m in the process of building EMT lift panels as well. Having a hard time with the hinge point to get it to close perfectly. Curious if you have a measurement on where you put yours. Thanks!
I’ll also mention I bought your 3D mounting brackets - things are clutch
Thank you! The hinge point is a total pain, I would share my measurements except I don’t even think mine are right as mine doesn’t fully close how it should in the back. So I don’t want to lead you in the wrong direction. What I did was bent the EMT into the two sections first. You can make the sections longer than needed and then cut off the excess once you sort things out. I then played with them on the ground to try and sort out where to put the hinge point to achieve closing it properly as well as opening properly. It’s honestly more complex than I anticipated and I didn’t get it right the first time and had to redo my hinge point. Be sure to factor in how far away from the edge of the roof and wall the EMT is mounted into the hinge point measurements, otherwise you could end up with a scenario where the lift panel tries to push the roof forward when closing because the offset from the edge/wall wasn’t factored.
Thanks for buying the mounts, glad you like them! They have been going strong for a year now on mine.
Good stuff man,
I am rebuilding my 80s Hawk and also made EMT lifters. When i close mine, it is very tight and the alignment of the roof is off when I close it. Did you have an issue with that?
looks great! what do you use to 3d model when you 3d print designs or do you just find good models online to use?
Thank you! I use Fusion 360 for all my models. Everything in this camper was designed by me. But I do often use models of stuff I find online too. Lots of options!
Hey man how did you find your pivot point for the conduit supports? Having trouble figuring that out.
I luckily had the prior support to base mine off of. But I did have to mock it up and install the bottom and then play with where the pivot was.
Nice work. I think your videos to ND to be a bit explanation heavy. It would be good if you did more showing and less telling. I notice other youtubers use time lapse and voice-over to great effect when doing projects like these.
Thanks for the note, but I’ll prob always be explaining more. People can always skip around if they want, but you can’t ever get more information if it isn’t there in the first place 👌
