  • Felt like this day would never come! So happy to be essentially done with the build and in a spot to be out and using it now. I cannot wait to get some more nights in it!

    I’ve been running an Amazon diesel heater with zero issues for a few years. But it’s tapped into the van’s diesel tank so I don’t have the dual fuel concerns. The nice thing about propane is you can ditch those little green Coleman cans which are expensive and terrible for the environment. I assume the propex style doesn’t have the condensation issues that something like a buddy heater does.

      @pnwxplore  Год назад

      Yeah the diesel heaters are pretty good and if I had a diesel truck with a tank I could tap into, that would be the route I go.
      The propane heater works in the same fashion as the diesel heater and air is passed over a combustion chamber while combustion byproducts (emissions, condensation, etc) are exhausted outside the camper.

    Looking good, I just did a camping trip, bought a 2 person tent that fits in the back of my RAM, was a shake down trip, went well. Beats sleeping on the ground. Hope to upgrade to something like you have in the future. Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration to get outside.

      Thank you!
      Tent camping is great as well and a good place to start out! Allows you to build your kit and get out there while figuring out what you really want/need.
      Thanks for watching and following along!

    Great to see the first test run! Do you still have your Norden? Not quite a 1,000 miles on mine, great for exploring

      I do still have it, need to get out on a trip with it soon! I’m about 1700 miles on mine, needs more miles!
