Personally, i'd like to believe that Spyro & Cynder would just live out their lives together in peace, free of conflict, maybe even start a family together. But also keep in touch with Sparx (+ Flash & Nina), Hunter, the Guardians & the other citizens of Warfang. Especially the laters, just in case should the worse happen and the city is under attack & needs their help.
I mean, they never really got the chance to live theri own lives. Especially for Cynder! Her entire childhood was wasted, literally. Neither of them wanted this way in life, it was all thrusted apon them, and they only fought in the war out of necessity, otherwise their world would've been doomed. And admitedly, because they wanted to help others in need, because they're both good-hearted Dragons.
well, that's my head-canon anyways.
They've been through so much, just let them be happy.
They belong together. Btw, yes! I support this ship! Personally, it's my favorite Dragon couple.
I just had an idea about the dragon nebula/constellation. Maybe Malefor's darkness over the age had shrouded the sky and only after he had been defeated, could the dragons finally see the light far off in the cosmos.
It's because Spyro used Aether and got "reborn" into a nebula after his death, tribes and ancient civilizations believe in that or atleast stars but Hercules was given a constellation for his bravery and heroic actions so it's one of the two.
Its sad we don't have the answers, and probably never will
Its also beautiful in a way as we get the Fanfiction to fill the gaps
There is a bunch of creative people in this world who loved this game enough to create these stories

Ratchet and Clank: RA type of thing? Spyro 3 character themed levels thing?
Hell, reintroduce Ember and Flame! Each of them has different abilities?

You do not want to know how many post-DotD fanfictions start off with Spyro and Cynder in Avalar. Heck, a lot of them literally start at the final battle with Malefor, with word-for-word recreations of that cutscene!
As for me, I see Spyro and Cynder being in Avalar for probably a week or so before running into Hunter, then getting back to Warfang. The people see Spyro as a hero and probably call for him to become king. Being the humble hero he is, Spyro would most likely refuse, but after some push from the crowd agrees to be trained by the Guardians to become a leader of the people. So Spyro is "crowned" king but he's not the official king yet, with the Guardians still being in charge until he's older.
As for Cynder, I believe that she and Spyro do become a couple, but she also wants to explore the world and goes on a journey of self discovery. When she returns to Warfang, she will become his queen.
That's just my fanfiction headcannnon though!
I wonder, what would have been if Spyro's Kingdom has been released?
How could have helped the Legend of Spyro lore? And what would have revealed in that same universe?
That Spyro and Cynder tricked the book of dead dragons with magic, sounds both intrigant and also confusing, I mean how they could? Unless one of them had some more acknowledge of other type of magic, maybe Cynder?
Anyway, it's impressive how story works its way into all of us.
Once Spyro's Kingdom prototype was revealed, we as Spyro fans felt like a gold mine was found.
The little we know of the game compared to all what we know about TLOS seems to work to brain storm many ideas about how they are connected and what happened to them.
Like I said, maybe Cynder is absent because or she left to find her destiny and came back (or not) or she is Spyro's queen and serves like a leader in special missions.
As for king Spyro, well as he was who saved the world, probably the whole kind was in debt with him for accomplishing such feat at a short age and gave him the honor to turn him king, and he took it, but doubtful at that he might turn into Malefor now that he has such power and role, but knowing he wasn't alone, he took the responsability.
Yes, this sounds like fanfiction, but honestly still sounds good.

All this Spyro talk makes me wish we have Spyro news soon. But meanwhile, we can enjoy branstorming about this what ifs.

My head canon is that when a puprle dragon has to renew the world, they essentially need to focus on their own interpretation of a world and then it is created after the destruction of the old one. Spyro's interpretation was literally the same world but improved slightly, so everyone is still alive that could save and all the babies are gone and Spyro and Cynder lived but they wanted to be alone for a while and not be found for a time. Eventually they would reunite with Sparx and the guardians and such but for now.
Spyro's kingdom is strange. I can't see him being a king because theres no evidence of any sort of monarchy existing and why would Spyro be the king aside from him being a purple dragon?
I'd want an official continuation of LoS, but understandable, it may piss off some fans. It's interesting to think about nonetheless.

Either one is possible and both make sense. If they died it would make sense since Spyro and Cynder were at the core and most likely were burried in the core by rocks. But if they did survive they most likely fud so via usage of Spyro's earth magic.
They became spirits, dont forget the White Isle aka Celestial Caves is Metaphysical and a bridge between the physical & spiritual plane and is why Ignitus is somehow visible, the spirits including his most likely went to the same location after the Well of Souls became dead and inactive.
I wanted to know how did Spyro and Cynder survive. That is a question.
Maybe spyro was the king because the people chosen him , i mean maybe was like a popular opinion in the realms that spyro was the king .

If we go back and look at the end of dawn of the dragon Spyro could have maybe done the same thing that he did the the end of the eternal night and put him self and Cynder in a cryo state like master chief at the end of halo 3 and few years later they could be found by some rescue or research team.
They seem to be enjoying themselves at the Valley of Avalar. Seeing that there was no trace of Spyro in the book from the epilogue suggests that they didn't die.
Well they are but they're spirits, that constellation that is in the night sky after what Spyro did is a mirror to how in some cultures, when you die, you become a star but with Aether, Spyro has something like that but also different. We dont have much info on that flash of light before the purple sphere surrounding the Planet to put it back together though which definitely should have something to do with Spyro & Cynder as they are at the end.
We don’t know who exactly Spyro’s biological parents are. So maybe he’s the lost prince of Warfang: the son of the previous Dragon King and Queen? Perhaps they were killed by Malefor during the early stages of the War, and Spyro is their only heir. The King and Queen would have known they’d be targets for the Dark Master as soon as they saw their purple egg. So they sent it to the Guardians in a desperate bid to keep their child safe. It would make sense.
Can you do a lore video on all of the Spyro games after “Year Of The Dragon” but before “The Legend Of Spyro: A New Beginning”? You’ve talked about stuff from “Shadow Legacy” and “A Hero’s Tail” but I didn’t finish those games so I’m confused how they tie into the original timeline

Spyro and Cynder did survive. And it would have nothing to do with Spyro’s Kingdom. I believe they lost their way back home when they find themselves in a valley, and try to find it but no luck. Eventually they reunited with Sparx and find Dragon Kingdom. The reason Cynder may not be in the original was that she had a tough time saving the world. It makes more sense… if not just to me.
I kinda went with the assumption that Spyro and Cynder did what they did in the core of the Earth expecting to die, and accepting that. But surviving, and seeing the world was now free of the reign and terror of the dark master for the first time in centuries, went home to see the new world they were, in the end, responsible for. I can't imagine that vision if them in Avalar was before Spyro and Sparx found each other, they're brothers and I think finding him would be one of the first things on Spyro's mind.
I don't have much thought on Spyro becoming a literal king though, seems a bit odd for his character. I'd figure he'd become revered, honored, but be allowed to return to a normal-ish life, Cynder as well. They've both had a lot put on them by the circumstances of war, I would like to see them be allowed to reclaim those lost years.
Agreed, while I guess it’d be interesting for Spyro and Cynder to not return to Warfang I guess, maybe that’s just me talking after reading fanfics that all have them do that. The king part though, it really does seem out of character, would’ve liked to see that explained

How would Spyro's life into adulthood(if he did survive) be like without his brother? Yes spyro pulled the world back together, but that was after it blew up, so wouldn't everyone be dead already?

Not sure if there was anything about him really after DotD, outside of everything being reconstructed he just sort of… fades into the background? He lives after, but it might be worth talking about to be honest

he said, after spyro sacrifices himself, spyro cynder souls are bound. It is that in 10 generations later we find them in the skylanders.
And in T.L.S Dawn of the Dragon, a character called Prowlus says he knows about Malefor's youth.
Prowlus is said to be the hunter of the rekindled spyro trilogy which also reincarnated thanks to Malefor who is the original spyro.
Like spyro and cynder of the legend.
But we don't know if Spyro and Cynder have any memories of their past lives.
And I noticed that Malefor can do it too, but the ghost dragons have come to prevent spyro and cynder from killing him, but it's almost too late, because Malefor's life bar which represents a part of his soul, it reincarnated 10 generations later in Spyro Skylander.
YES, friends watching skylander academy. I think I guessed the origins of Spyro Skylander!
in skylanders academy season 2, there was an episode 3 where spyro confronts malefor (cynder's father) he raises his hand, like malefor from legend.
And in "skylanders ring of heroes" spyro evolves, much like Malefor, and on the spyro front, I'm sure it's the mark of the black master Malefor, because in TLS Dawn of the Dragon a character called Mason after examining the spyro and cynder chains, he says he bears the mark of evil, while we can see that there is nothing.

Tbh that's the only reasonable explanation I could come up with, though that's now what I really think happened, and I don't think it's really likely. This whole thing is part of the reason I never went into it, mainly because well... logic starts to break down when you try to figure this out

Also, the scene of Spyro flying with Cynder by a series of floating islands does allude to Skylanders. Some people theorize that the Realms transformed into Skylands.
Ya but if you fallow the skylander comics malefor dose tell spyro that they had met before this dose leed to one question about the skylander theory how is it that spyro the cynder do not rememder there past and only malefor dose ???????

My head cannon is that Spyro and cynder trascend death itself so they are both dead and alive, so that's why the book hasn't their name and at the same time are gone
Personally I’ve thought about this ever since besting dawn of the dragon. What if spyro and cynder decide that their presents brings evil. How many years of their life’s were spent running, fighting, and in overall stress / Peril ? Kinda like gokus reason for wanting to stay dead at the end of the cell arc spyro sees himself as a beacon that brings evil. With the help of hunters tribe they could cover their tracks and travel. Leaving everyone behind with heavy hearts thinking this is for the best.
Until something else threatens their friends anyway, forcing them to come back.

I think Spyro and Cynder do some exploring and encounter real aliens from space and are captured by them taken into deep space on a distant planet where they're kept alive and used for experiments trying to find a way to control their powers. Primary used Cynder cause maybe Spyro's body and nervous system is pretty resistant to advance medicine like anesthetic and had to use a larger concentration amount of the sedatives to make him go alseep. But while in space Spyro learns new elemental powers and Cynder who was genetically alter by the medical experiments gain new elemental powers that were dormant in her until the experiments awakened them.
Lore of the Dragon I think in my opinion that in TLOS Spyro and Cynder didn't survive after the world was put together again but I do like to believe that there in some kind of spirit would to keep Malefor from ever returning for all time however I believe many centuries later both Spyro and Cynder were reincarnated in the Reignited Trilogy timeline which pretty much brings the previous Spyro when he eventually faces Gnasty Nork, Ripto and the Sorceress. As for Cynder she would most likely be reincarnated well but her personality is now different and could possibly be of that of Spyro but in a different dragon realm. Should Malefor ever returned for Spyro 4 I would gess that a new villain would discover him as nothing but a fossil but is evil spirit remains until he's somehow resserect into that of a dragon elder which would be his new form.
