for all the people in the comments saying "oh corona" on the paper at start that's the model name for the Xbox firmware and the motherboard it shipped with there are as follows. Xenon, zephyr, opus, falcon, jasper, trinity, corona. showing its a 2012 last gen variation
xLinka and Winchester but they were the last gen and shipped on the “e-slims” slims would come either with trinity mother board or a corona motherboard trinity usually had the earlier manufacturing date and corona later around 2011 (the difference for both was that trinity used the standards 10.83a and the corona was 9.6a I think ) xenon and zephyr were the first boards to come into manufacturing in around 2005+ zephyr had a hdmi port then later variations when xenon failed with the red rings the opus consoles were usually sent out once the xenons got discontinued the same with zephyrs they were replaced with falcon boards and around 2008 they provides the jasper boards, these were the best boards for the phat consoles for modding and a quite favourable. Hope this helped
correct there is also a "E" variant confirmed with a slightly different corona board and the case looks like a Xbox One original, But that model also a really late 2013 model that patched the RGH exploit.
Hugh, Since the Xbox didn’t come with a Hard Drive. Try Installing an SSD inside it if you can. That would be a really cool project and you would have a fast Xbox 360 Slim
There is actually a reason they didn't, the Xbox 360 plays the games from the data on the disk. Only (like a couple of MB) are stored on a 5 GB hard drive (might be bigger). You could download games from the Xbox store, but you sometimes pay more then you would for the disk. I'm just speaking from experience, correct me if i am wrong on anything.
@@w3bv1p3r You could install games to the HDD (After the original blade dashboard was updated) I always did, saves wear on the DVD Drive and generally reduced stuttering caused by DVD latency.
To everyone saying they can't handle SSD's or listing off reasons they didn't use them. That doesn't matter, in order to get an Xbox 360 console to recognize a SSD or even a HDD as an internal storage medium requires software tools to format the drive in a way that the console could use it. and it would need to be a specific size because the hard drives were only made in certain storage sizes

seems a bit late to mention this, but the middle support plastic on the sides aren't actually melted, they do indeed just pop off like little clips and re-attach, that's how you'd access the other plastic clips for the outer piece
when opening the top and bottom part at 3:06 you dont need to pull that hard, there's a little hole under the sticker and you can use a needle or something to pop that little bracket inside the console and it will come out easily
