A man who can fix anything. All you need now are some racing flames decals. I love you both and look forward to watching what else is new, fun, informative info you share with everyone. I'll be here in Tx waiting & watching.
I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw your multimeter. I bought one of those at RadioShack back in the early 90’s when I was in college taking my electronics courses. I think I got it on sale for like $5 and it works like a charm still. Just as good as my Fluke meter that I paid a whole lot more for after I finished school. Love the mag wheels on the trailer! Classes up your ride. That was nice of the auto parts store to make sure your battery had gone bad instead of just selling you a new one like most places do. Still some folks out there that know what service is! 😊👍🏻
It started right up! Looks like Kathy had fun. If I was driving she would be saying slow down slow down haha. I've got to take a vehicle battery to get tested. I keep having to jump it with our other vehicle. If only it would be as cheap as the one for your riding mower.
Now you can run down to Steve's Pizza and pick up a large sausage and cheese. Kathy can hold it in the back while you dodge traffic on the way home. Ha, Ha...
I get mine at Walmart, after a few years and the mower sits all winter I just put my battery maintainer on it,but I told you already that I had to finally buy another battery a month ago,it is a $12.00 core charge at Walmart.
I pass 2 mower stores going to and from work, both are on the same road but opposite sides of the street, they both have john deer parts, the latest place that has been there several years has different john Deer equipment outside,I have never been inside either store but pass them for years.
Hi. Great job ! My car has a dead battery right now ! It's a newer battery too! Something must be killing it , or the battery is junk . Have a great week ! Deborah Canada. ( Kathy looks like fun in the wagon ! Oopps you fell out ! LoL! )
You got a lot accomplished today. Good to see the tractor is ready for a busy season. Great job! Thanks for the great video. Strange how the brand parts aren't available. Put Kathy in the trailer and give her a ride. Lol.
, hi Rick,😁 😁 how are you! at least you got a new one now.:) now iam interested how many years you will get out of this one compared to the deere...iam sure the diehard was a lot cheaper...but we will see.:)
Now we need a video of you taking the D105 to a fast food drive-thru. :) BTW, a replacement battery with 300 cold cranking amps for the D105 (not a Deere or Dihard but Titan brand) is $47 + tax at Home Depot.
Used to sell tractor batteries. They tended to last only a year, sometimes two, because they are just not maintained and used everyday like car batteries. A battery tender can help but also saw them not help.
All the usual auto parts chains sell those batteries. Getting a JD branded battery is not required, unless you really want it. Other brands are just as good and may even be the same thing with a different sticker.
Hey i know where that advance auto is i live maybe 20-30 minutes away from it, unless I'm thinking if a different one in a similar shopping centre style thing
It will last you a long time heck it still looks like new.I have 4 and mow about 4 acres I just like having a few around.X590,LX280,LX277 and a oldie but a goodie 300 from way back in 1976
We had that problem before 09, 1996 yard man riding lawn tractor up at our cabin that my Grandpa Oliver bought in new in 1996. The solution was a brand new battery.
your better off with a diehard battery than replacing it with another Deere battery. I had to replace mine in under two years Auto Zone said them Deere batteries are garbage. I have to agree
With all due respect, you should include a disclaimer in this video. If you do not unhook negative first and hook it up last, you run the risk of shorting the positive causing sparks, burns, or damage to your electrical system. Battery gasses are very explosive too. So your video is entertaining but not a tutorial.
LOL. Kathy, should drive next time while you ride. Enjoy your videos and the wholesome humor.
Yeah that would be fun! 👍😎
Thanks Kathy, and Rick. I really enjoyed. You've got green grass, and trees. Up here in North West Ontario, we've still got lots of snow.
I hope there's no more snow around here. :)

Yeah some flames! That would be cool! Glad you like watching! :)

Radio Shack was amazing! I work for a battery company and were having trouble getting batteries in stock..
I really miss Radio Shack!
Those mag caps made the wheels look like hundred dollar wheels. Looking good Rick!
Thanks! I love it! :)

Too bad about your battery. I know that's a pain sometimes. I hope you figure it out. 👍
Nothing runs like a Deere 🦌
True! My old 1998 rider runs like it was new.
You got a lot accomplished today. Good to see the tractor is ready for a busy season. Great job! Thanks for the great video. Strange how the brand parts aren't available. Put Kathy in the trailer and give her a ride. Lol.
Lol, I write that before I saw that. Lol!!
Do u know if you put on the emergency brake you don’t need to sit in seat to start it😮
Hi Rick. I've seen my hubby replace many batteries over the years in ours. 😠😎
Nice video! Luckily for me I live 10 minutes away from a john deere dealer it's called heritage tractor Smithville
Yeah that's handy!
, hi Rick,😁 😁 how are you! at least you got a new one now.:) now iam interested how many years you will get out of this one compared to the deere...iam sure the diehard was a lot cheaper...but we will see.:)

Cool video talk Rick John Deer 270 tracker did the tracker work good Rick
Time to eat just don't eat the battery lol 😅
Rick do you run a battery tender when the mower is stored? Also the bike?
I've used them for years and it makes everything last a lot longer
Yeah! :)
I guess you decided to keep the D105 when you were looking at mowers awhile back I thought perhaps a new one might be in your future.
Well this one is still working good. No problems so far. I hope it never gives me any problems. Thanks for watching!

👍👍
I always get the batteries with the 1 year exchange warranty, before that 1 year is up I take it back and get a new battery free of charge.
I think Krispy Kreme sells those batteries.
Where did you get the green lights?
There is a link to when I installed them in the video description below this video. And the link to the lights is in the description of that video. 👍
You two made my day!! 😀
Thanks! 😀 😎
I DEMAND A FOOD SHOW !! please Mr. Mammana Beat Box Boys - Yum Yum (Eat Them Up)
What about getting it from Amazon
Yeah they have alot. I'd rather buy it near me in case it doesn't last long it's easier to exchange. :)
I just talked to my jd dealer they have original batteries 70 bucks u bring ur old battery u will get some off
Good deal!
your better off with a diehard battery than replacing it with another Deere battery. I had to replace mine in under two years Auto Zone said them Deere batteries are garbage. I have to agree
We just got a 2019 E100 with 108 Hours and still has its original Deere battery and somehow still holds a charge 3 years later.
Hi Rick can you please Review Gallikers orange dream milk?
I got that brand in my car.they last
