    Thank you so much for helping people with this awful issue. These squatters being able to take over people's homes make sick. It's un-American. If this, God forbid, ever happens to me, one of my family members, or friends I'll definitely contact you. I'm going to sign your petition right now.

    I love this. This is what we are trying to do. Only it's not "squatters," it's adverse possessors of a portion of our residential property by entitled neighbors. We are up against the time clock and they have a lot of money. Lawyers dont help at all. Once we hit the statute of limitations they will produce evidence of continuous trespass and we will possibly lose our land that we love. These laws must change. We arent absentee land owners. We live right here but these people are smart and know what they are doing.

    We got a similar situation here in Germany called "rent nomads" As a future landlord, I would just activate my contacts to some polish gentlemen who would wake the nomads up in the middle of the night with all their stuff packed and they would go on a long journey 2 or 3 countries away and put there with their passports taken in the middle of the woods. Fuck around and find out in Germany (= If I get caught I get some 5 years even if someone dies and Ill have a PS with Elden Ring in my (solo) cell.

    I'm not really understanding why the owner of the property can't just remove them and their stuff. The owner didn't get any notice when they illegally moved in so why do the trespassers deserve all this consideration? I don't get it.

    Your right, trespassing and breaking and entering im sure almost all those properties are locked. Bet that doesn't happen to abandoned or empty factories.

      Locked doors only keep honest people honest. Which the malintented , devious home occupiers are not . Chances are they have spent quite a few hours in casing a place looking for the easier preyed upon property scenarios .
      Which is all about flying under the radar of breaking and entering / trespassing .
      To establish a fake front of having made a verbal agreement of occupancy .

    What if you let the police know that you have a Hose that's empty and on the market for sale or for rent? And have the police stop by to take a look at the house to confirm then let them know who the new owner is or the new renter? In some cases you can hire an officer on their free time to deliver important papers to another individual. Can this be done? Hire a police officer for a couple of hours for a few visits to inspect the house, just in case someone breaks in and trys to lie that they have been living there for a long time?

      Never going to happen not their job, they will not get involved in a civil dispute, we have apartment management, realtors, many people who can do this, cops aren’t going to it’s not in their best interest

      @@CharitysClarity One guy has done something similar. The cop new the squatter was not the owner or renter. That means that if they knew, they could keep them out. Plus you haven't tried it. Before you say no. Call them and ask. They'll be able to tell either yes or no.👌🏾

    This is Amazing what you do Sir. If it were to happen to my family & I I will call the Police & Contact you. Can I ask you a question? How do these Squatters get into homes? Because if they are breaking widow’s or whatever they would be breaking the law 1st? Thank you for Educating me. I will let everyone I know about you.

    Short of changing the laws so that verbal agreements will not be recognized by a court .
    Which I'm not sure will ever happen , nor people would want that on both sides of tenant / land lord relationships ? Since the property owners would also lose freedoms they now enjoy.
    And create more bureaucracy hoops to have to deal with in registering every tenant situation with government oversight .
    I am thinking there is a possible way to remove the question of verbal agreement per owner and specific property. Albeit must be done before the fact .
    Which is making a public declaration in a news paper about said property to time stamp , saying this person WILL NOT rent/lease/allow any persons to occupy said property without such n such written documentation .
    IDK ... just a thought

      Even with a verbal agreement that would be legal. There would be emails, texts, payment trail that would consider occupancy to have been legal and agreed upon. Squatters can’t show any of this. Thank you for watching and your comment.

      @@FlashShelton Well the point is to remove the courts doubt on the matter .
      Since they still would respect the he said she said , etc ... when no documentation of any kind exists . And have made laws in favor of tenants due to past abuses by land lords .
      Which ultimately , the malintented devious home occupier for the most part. Does not intend to ever be before a court to argue their case . They just intend to use the float time to advantage. And have the question of verbal agreement be a shield against boots on the ground law enforcement.
      So my thought was having made that public declaration ... the boots on the ground law enforcement would have the power to remove them more quickly.
      Possibly 3 days ??? or even 2 weeks ???
      Instead of 3 months + ???
      And I guess would need some points of law clarification/additions to present laws in some places .
      Serial squatting though needs some stiffer penalties probably ? But of course proving that is still a burden of prosecution to the level of "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" for criminal punishment .
      Which a national list would be good , since I wager many of these squatter types do simply just go to another state .

      @@Mk101Tthere is no doubt once your in front of the judge but good luck how long it takes to do so. If you truly didn’t rent it, you have plenty of evidence, but the key is don’t put yourself in front of the judge. It makes no sense there are plenty of ways to do this there are many options

      What for example ? What would remove the courts doubt of there being a verbal agreement or implied lease ?
      But as is ... I think Flashes approach of squatting on the squatter is the best remedy . I'm just trying to spitball ways that property owners can build a line of defense from becoming a victim .
      In which taking an active interest and having a good report with the neighbors is probably the best towards catching the moment of breaking entering / trespassing , while a property is vacant .

    And this post is only intended for your eyes , which I did not see an immediate way to send you a private message ... hence making this post , and is fine to hide/delete it .
    Which if you want to respond just do it in my other post still up on this video .
    But anyways , I want to be clear that I think your motivations and efforts towards the current squatting problem are not only totally on the up and up , but filling a much needed void.
    So my only intentions is to help you in that endeavor . And I do realize that some of my solutions may take away from your now means of employment. That could otherwise help sustain your effort to educate the public about it . Which ultimately more people being aware , will reduce a squatter epidemic .
    But also so you know ... I have no intentions of getting in the squatter hunter business .
    Only discussing solutions to help the property owners who do fall prey to it , and help you help them.
    Which I guess needs you helping me to help you , talking about boundaries for mentions on your channel ?
    Although if you are of the opinion you have this without my input , which I have done for about 6 months now ??? That's fine ... just say so , cuz I have no intentions to hinder you .

      I noticed something about "Squatter Talk"
      Is that through zoom kinda thing ?
      Which I don't know if I would be good broadcast material , or even want to be ?
      But need a camera and microphone anyways :\
      So have to pull out the handyman skillz to rig me up one / video clip first / cuz I'm only a desk top user with anything social media.
      Except I will lower myself occasionally to text with my flip phone .
      Which still is way way less efficient than a simple verbal exchange on the phone.
      My ole lady handles most of my PR handyman necessities .
      But then again , I pretty much only work for her friends :)

      I think he's bringing awareness of the problem and the most effective way to deal with it. I don't think he actually removes anybody. That was the media making i more clickbait worthy. HIs tips are spot on though.
