I honestly dont understand a filter that has not inlet of air to filter..
It's a scam to gain a few more percentage points of profit along with planned obsolescence that requires you to replace your fridge every 3 years.

Every time I replace it, the old one is as clean as the new one. This is trick a for consumers to spend money on a useless filter. No more.

what is this good for anyway? I don't think there is a fan in my refrigerator that circulates air so I would think any mold in the fruit drawer would stay in the fruit drawer and contaminate other stuff before it made its way all the way up to that little filter way up top in the fridge. Anyway I live in a southern state and no matter how well I clean and dry the produce before putting it in the fridge, things just mold. I'll replace this and see if it helps but are there any studies that shows this does anything, or is it just something the engineers invented to get us to spend unneeded money? (I have no idea if these are cheap or not, but having had refrigerators that worked perfectly well for over 50 years without this added thing, I have my doubts they do anything).
It probably has carbon in the filter that’s why it’s black, it just absorbs odors, like a box of baking soda. I think he did say that in the video.
Hi, soak your fruits and veggies in a 50/50 vinegar solution for 10 minutes, then rinse, pat dry, and you should find your mold problem disappears! Best of luck to you!
Yes I completely checked the refrigerator from head to toe where the filter goes under the the butter tray there is no motor no fan no vent of any kind so exactly what is the filter filtering I don't get it I think it's just something to buy and put in because mine came with none in the first place they just want you to pay for it and pay for it and pay for it every time it says replace air filter it's a joke these people are a joke

How does air pass through it if there’s only one side? I understand that you didn’t design it. But to filter air it needs to be double sided. Clean side / dirty side. 🤯🤯
