    This was the most difficult thing to find out how to install. The instructions were as clear as mud i contacted customer support twice and they sent me misinformation. It took me the last three hours to find this video. Thank goodness for my tenacity

    I was sent a notice from Frigidare with the specific model number of my refridgerator (FFHT-1425VV) advising that I needed to replace the air filter, and telling me which one to buy. So I ordered and received the filter only to find out my model does not have any air filter! Yes that is bad that I did not check first, but very bad for Frigidare to be soliciting to sell filters to people who don't need one. I believe I am owed an apology if not a reimbursement!

      Hi, Roger! We apologize for any confusion. This model does not come with air filter housing, but is set up for the AF-1 air filter kit, which is why you may have received this solicitation. If you would like to start eliminating odors in your fridge, we recommend purchasing the AF-1 Starter Kit (www.frigidaire.com/Filters--Accessories/Filters/Air-Filters/TMFRGPAAF1KT/), which includes the snap-in housing and your first filter! Otherwise, you can make a return of any unused air filter within 90 days of purchase by calling (800) 599-7569 Monday through Saturday, 8AM-8PM EST. ~Ashton

      I actually hate their products. Our oven tries to lock itself and then gets stuck. Hey Frigidaire, let me decide to lock or unlock or not lock the door, not your stupid damn product that can fail. Un freaking real. I would rather have the damn oven heat up and not heat up when I tell it to, THAT IS IT.

    In your video, the filter you remove has the grey side facing out and the new one is installed with the black side facing out. Does it make a difference?

    I don't see any water cooler/dispenser videos. We've run close to 5 gallons of water through our water cool/hot and room temp dispenser and it still has a horrible taste. I know the water is good before it goes in as we use our own filtered water. There were no instruction with it about cleaning or flushing.

    the actual way to identify and remove the filter couls be a little more detailed - I don't belive my fridge has a filter at all. If it is there I fon'y see iy. There is nothing that looks like what is in this video

      Hi, Joseph! Thanks for your feedback. Not all of our refrigerators come with an air filter housing, or yours may be a different type if you have an older model. Try looking up your model number on Frigidaire.com and looking under the "Accessories" section on the product page to see what goes with your fridge! If your model does not have an air filter housing, you can install the stick-on Universal Air Filter (www.frigidaire.com/Filters--Accessories/Filters/Air-Filters/FRPFUAF1/) to start eliminating odors from your fridge! ~Ashton

      This video was helpful! My refrigerator came without the housing and the filter so I ordered the starter kit. Was successfully able to install my filter after viewing the video.

    Don't ever buy from Frigidaire! My fridge broke 1 1/2 after buying and its more than a month later and still is not fixed!!!! They keep changing the date for arrival of parts. I have not had a working fridge for over a month and when calling they hang up on you. The customer service is non-existent as they lie just to get you off the phone. first they said parts would come June 7, 2022 ... then June 27 now I get an email saying July 12.... WTF... when does it end??

      I have been dealing with a ticket on a fridge for over a year! Frigidaire support is a Nightmare to work with. Countless hours on the phone and no resolution... They keep making the excuse they have to contact 'The Back Office' - WTH is 'The Back Office' and why are they not a part of your phone call support? I'm going to spend at least $1000 of their money in phone support time just out of spite or until resolution...

      I totally agree! We have been without a refrigerator for over 2 months and we have the extended warranty. Their customer service is not acceptable

    Frigidaire, I hate you. You all send me a notification that it’s time to change the air filter, so I go buy one… only to find out that mine doesn’t even have a place for a filter. I just struggled for an hour trying to figure it out. What a waste of time!!
