    Tucked in the tube there at the end, nice surfing thoughout. Is the smaller 5-8 g skate helping, and would you recommend for progression from a seaside and beyond mid length?

      The smaller one does help but it’s not an optimal board to jump down from the seaside and beyond. It’s still gonna feel as a high performance shortboard. It would just make the whole experience much easier😜 I would slowly drop the length from the Seaside & Beyond if you have never surfed a shortboard before.

      @@SkipperSurfReview thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I’m guessing the G Skate is a little easier to ride than the Happy Everyday short board (the Happy Everyday is often recommended as a good board to transition to short boarding) as the G Skate has a wider and more forgiving nose while carrying more foam under the chest to help with paddling/catching waves. That maybe a good comparison for future. Thanks again, great to see your progress over time🤙
