Optimizing the cabin space on our 2020 F450 Regular Cab

- I love the standard cab look. Since it's just me and Momma these days, we don't have a need for a personnel carrier.
With that in mind, we still have our normal 'stuff' when out running the roads - backpack, purse, a couple of drinks, a snack bag, etc. And, heaven help us if we have to go get groceries :)
So, we've removed the center head rest and added a center cup holder down low since I don't like the cup holder in the flip-down center armrest all that much. {Ford OEM p/n: FL3Z1813562AC}
Another thing we did was disconnect the center seat belt. This makes putting items behind the driver's seat easier.
** As a bonus: fuel mileage update: I'm currently averaging about 13mpg (12.96 to be exact) with my 15min commute to work. This is figured 'long hand' and not using the on-board computer.
We've gotten spoiled with all these new trucks and their interior space. I've become a bit of a pack rat and went back to a reg cab myself. Didn't know about the cupholder, will get one now. Thanks!
Toolboxes are your best friend for storage in a single cab truck
It's you Momma and those sideburns! Oh Lordy!
Interesting. I'd buy a F250 regular cab if there was just a foot more of interior space behind the seats. I considered removing the center fold down seat/arm rest to mount a storage box or carry a travel bag of some kind.
I think the Ram 2500 regular cab has almost a foot of space along with a storage tray. Chevy/GMC 2500 regular cabs are somewhere in between Ford and Ram but not quite enough. I'm a Ford fan though so I gotta pass unfortunately.
I subscribed as soon as you said the "silver thing." True working stiff talk. Beautiful truck by the way, I am considering purchasing one just like it. Keep the videos coming. 👍
I love single cab pickups.
Nice sideburns i mean truck.
how is the ride though? I s it really stiff a choppy?
How tall are you? Is there enough legroom?
Nice looking truck. Looking to buy a F 350 Duelie. Camper package.
I'm interested in the same model you own. But planning to swap the whole cloth seats to the leather seats if I can. Do you know where the side safety airbags locate at? In the seats or in the pillars or in the roof?
Honestly, I'm not sure. I didn't drive the truck today or I'd walk out there and check :(
I know there IS an airbag in the A-pillar. I'll have to look for more.
@@frambach508 Thank you!!!
Is the single cab good for hotshot?
I really want a regular cab 👌🔥
We love ours. I get more compliments driving this F450 than I do with any other vehicle!
@@frambach508 it's my dream truck!!!
@@frambach508 is she for sale 😂
I have a 2019 regular cab, interior looks exactly the same, although it looks as though the center fold down (by the cup holders) opens up, does it ? On my 150 it does not .
Yes, the seat base for the middle seat does open on ours. I've seen some trucks that have the opening base and others that don't.?
Our truck is a XLT. What trim package is your F150? If it's a XL, that might explain... maybe. Then again, it could just be FoMoCo doing FoMoCo things :)
@@frambach508 yes, its an XL, thank you
Cool
Got a link for that cup holder boss ?
I ordered this for my 2020 Standard Cab F250
