    I just ordered this myself. Our HPOP was bad, so anything is an improvement. The ball bearing was the selling point for me. I hope to be as satisfied. I don't care if it makes more power, just want it to be reliable. Like you, I have concerns with a lot of the HPOP rebuilds.

    I just installed Dieselsite 7.3 Billet Aluminum Adrenaline HPOP with stock injectors. 2003 F350 7.3 I have only put 45 miles on it so far. So far I can tell I difference in the bigger hydra tunes. Like 100 and 140 hp. Blows less black smoke than before on these tunes. I feel like I’m making more power now. However I still have boost leaks to tackle. So far I’m impressed.

    Enjoyed your humor at the end of this video, had me laughing pretty good. I have a '99 F-350 with 308k. I replaced the O-ring on backside plug last year when I saw that leaking, and replaced both high pressure lines when one of the braided lines got a tear in it. Now I think I'm leaking from the non-serviceable plug on the bottom, and I think might just buck up and get the pump to be done with it! I've also replaced the engine oil cooler, the housing on each side of the cooler, and ICP sensor. Running out of things that can leak oil, but of course there's always one more! 😆 Thanks for the video.

    I had an injector go bad at 205k. I decided to fix as many of the problems with the 7.3 preemptively as I could while replacing the injectors. So new Garrett ball bearing turbo, up pipes, new pedestal exhaust block off valve delete, adrenaline hpop, new steel water pump, Banks intercooler and charge pipes with filter and box, mishimoto g radiator and trans cooler. I now get about 18-19 mpg in a extra cab short box F250 4 x4. I was averaging about 14 mpg before upgrades. Only problem is pedestal o ring leak. Really wish I'd seen your video with the permatex trick before I did all the work...

    Hey Clint, how is the Adrenaline HPOP working for you? I am considering it for my 2000. I'm running WW2 and 4" muffler delete pipe. Bought my truck new in 200o and it only has 106K miles on it. My HPOP and IPR are working up to spec and my injectors seem to be fine without starting issues and 19MPG. I recently installed a Hydra chip and I would like to upgrade to a KC turbo, Adrenaline HPOP and single shot injectors. I was thinking the HPOP would be a good place to start. I really aprreciate your great videos and expertise.

    Great info and confirming the adrenaline capabilities. Your channel is one of the few that tells it like it is with a product. My 7.3 is a 2002 that I have owned for the last 6 years and I only have 128,000 miles on it. I do all of my own service and since I’ve owned the truck she gets Rotella, T4 and Motorcraft oil filter changes every 5000 miles or once a year. I would like your thoughts on changing out the pump prior to any failure of the stock unit. Are the mechanical gains worth the investment? Thanks in advance.

    I've got a '95 powersmoke. I change my oil 5000 or less and one a year I change it out after 1000 to kinda do an engine flush. TP38 turbo boosts up to 17psi and TS 6 position tuner which never leaves 100+hp. My only issue is that E40D.

      I bet that truck runs like a top! Sounds like you take pretty good care of it. On the Adrenaline, if having better performance and better mileage isn't an issue for you I would agree 100%. However with today's Demonomics, (Demoncratic Party Economics), if you drive this truck on a regular basis the part will pay for itself after a short time . Although I don't like the initial cost, I think I'll take that plunge when I start pulling a 5th wheel. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

    Sure seems like a great product but my question is is should you upgrade it when you don’t have to? Or should you wait until you start having problems with the stock pump then replace it with this one? I have only 160,000 on my 99 F350 and I don’t know if I need to invest give or take 1200 bucks for a new pump when my stock one is still working but if all the improvements are there should I replace the stock one now? And will it increase the longevity of my engine or will I be perfectly fine running the stock one until I get it needs replaced?

    Hi! Great video.. do you think this would help my 7.3 with power loss after warming up? I feel that as the oil gets warmer, the truck loses power and it may be because the HPOP is worn out. Before warming up,truck has AMAZING response and power.. currently running 15w-40 Rotella T6.

      I’d check on replacing the ipr and icp sensors first, don’t get an eBay one go on a reputable site and spend the money on those two. If that doesn’t fix the problem then I’d put an hpop. Mine did the same thing before I replaced those and it fixed it. But like some comments have said as a preemptive measure I replaced everything since I’ve got 190k on it.

    • @CUSTOMWORKS7.3PSD
      @CUSTOMWORKS7.3PSD  2 года назад +2

      Upgrading the pump would make a difference for any year But this isn't your problem There would be alot more info needed to internet diagnose I would look at fuel pressure cold, and if the injectors are original pull the valve covers have a person on each side with a flash light have a 3rd person start and check each injector for oil out put , you could try hot shot fuel cleaner and hot shot Stiction Eliminator before you pull the tool bucket out but be warned if you have a poor injector stiction will clean it right up and make it worse, yet you will know the problem is in the injectors for sure and that they need a rebuild I know they sell shim kits but if you are at that stage of the game its better to pull them and do a full rebuild. One can do this them selves if one is able to piss in a toilet with out hosing the floor down
