holy s$%^ that was quick. I am not a newbie in blender, just did not do explosions so far. And i had to pause every 2 seconds just to follow your instructions. WOW
Awesome tutorial! Though for some reason my explosion disappears after I bake it and doesn't appear in the render either. Would you happen to know any way to fix this?
i had a similar issue. i fixed it by changing the rendering engine from eeves to cycles (in the rendering tab). i dont know why this happens exactly but i hope it still helps
After connecting all of your parts together how did you mass select the empties to then make them breakable. I'm trying to do that however I'm having to select them individually and there are over 800 of them. lol Great video by the way! :D
Hey there - I'm glad you enjoy the video! - To answer your question: I selected them in the outliner - so what I mean is since they all have the same name, they are all grouped together in the outliner - so I just went to the first constraint selected it, scrolled down to the last constraint & shift selected it - I hope that helps!
For some reason my fire only shows up in Workbench rendering. Having it set to Cycles or Eevee only renders deep black and gray smoke, any ideas as to why it isn't working?
if your trying to add it to a regular video outside of Blender, one way is to set the background color as green or black, a color not present in the animation, then render and export it, then use chroma key/greenscreen for green, or blending mode for black or white backgrounds
I'd personally start by just adding a mud pbr texture f.e. this one might work: polyhaven.com/a/brown_mud_03 - especially if you have motion blur, nobody will really see the detail, but if that image texture ends up not working, you could also try a procedural approach like demonstrated in this video here: ruclips.net/video/2xkD5OASXnE/видео.html Hope that helps.
yeah you can just use 100 - but it will change the look - you'll have to experiment and compare 1000 with 100 maybe 200 - just to see what looks best to you - I hope that helps!
Hey there, so I think the problem is that not all objects that are selected, in particular the active one, have a Rigidbody physics effect on them, so the fix should be to just add a rigidbody physics to the active object - I hope that helps!
this is exactly how i want all tutorials to be, GREAT GREAT VIDEO!
I cannot pinpoint why this is such an amazing video, 7 minutes and 23 seconds of pure information fed in an optimised may... Just brilliant!
Hey cool, a simulation of what my computer's gonna look like after I render all this!
I followed this tutorial perfectly, first try. Thank you for making such a good and easy to follow tutorial!
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you!
@@edinspiegel Thank you for making it!

how are you supposed to see it? i keep getting the balls an dont see the smoke or flame.

@@edinspiegel That's awesome thank you so much for the help!
my explosion seems to turn out more like a crumble than an explosion, is there a specific way you got the explosion at 1:12 to be more proper?
this is realy awosom 😃😃
Thank you!
how do you make the thick walls at the start?
too fast for me :(
Good thing there's a feature where you can pause and scrub through the video
@@blender_unleashed ok good to know.
how do you make the collision i did it and it didnt work?

i have question everwhere there is tutorial to make explosion but how to add to my video is it possible

I am trying to make a liquid explosion like mud and which material preset is fit for this?

Do I have to make 1000 particles? Like just 100 so my PC won't lag?

"and hit ok"
blender is not responding
XD yeah it is like that sometimes
@@edinspiegel yeah ! But my bad I tried with a too much complex object ! Great tutorial by the way 👍
@DevilCut64 can definitely relate - happens to me all the time as well :-)
Thank you! I'm glad you like the tutorial!
