Really helpful, man ! Thanks. Can I offer some advice ? use tighter focal lengths for more realism; it would be really difficult or impossible to shoot aerial dogfight scenes with a wide lens if you were to do it practically. Imagine how close the chase plane would have to be. So try not going any wider than a 35mm with these scenes. Especially if you do the handheld shake, there's no way an actual camera could be in some of the positions you're shooting from. If you wanna go wide, have a fixed camera glued to the plane that's being hit, Battlestar Galactica or Interstellar style. Cheers !
ayo that's really helpful I love tutorials like this that teach more than just what they offer; I came to learn about explosions but that stuff about rotating image sequence planes toward the camera and offsetting start frames was really helpful for a project I'm working on also how do you make Eevee look so gooddddd
Thank you for the tutorial. There is nobody who does it as well as you, i tried following other tutorials before i found this one and the explosion would be too big for my scene and i couldnt find a way to make it smaller because if i would make the domain smaller the explosion would still remain same size, just hit the border of the domain and look bad. With your help i made the exact size i needed. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I know this was posted a while ago, but in that little render of yours in the start, how did you do the fire & smoke trail for when the B-17 explodes & when the engine is hit? I'm like trying to replicate that same kind of thing in Blender but idk what I'm doing when it comes to that part lol If you can suggest something on how you did that or like how you learned how to do that, I'd greatly apricate it :D
Amazing!! THank you so much! Can you do a tutorial on how you made the clouds? Whenever I try to do a scene like that everything looks pixelated and is really laggy
Thanks for your video. I say that the process of creating the explosion requires a very powerful machine. How did you make the clouds, the airplanes and the scenery of the land below? Thanks.
Thank you. I have a question. I want to do a scene like a mage playing fireball, but the fireball does not respond when it is scaled to a certain extent. At the same time, the mage's size ratio is correct, so I don't want to move the mage, which causes the fireball ratio and the mage do not match. I know that your video is a method, but can you give me some other suggestions
wait brother... i recognize one of those animations in the intro. You create for like Mustard or that other guy who does plane videos?? and please share the cloud method!
hello can i get this scene or the .blend file or can i just buy it because i would like to use this for our school project 😅 because our school project is we are required to create a short movie trailer so i would like to use this scene to create our trailer please can i get this scene for free or can i just buy it🥺(sorry my English is bad)
How are you able to r run eevee at such impressive speeds? I'm working with an RTX 3090, 64gigs 3200mhz ram and a Ryzen 9 3900x but my eevee performance is still 5 - 6 times slower than cycles?
Whaaaaaat that's wierd. Your setup is way better than mine! I tend to use very low settings in order to be able to render out tests really quickly, perhaps that's why my viewport is faster?
When I do my explosion on plane goes pink after the last frame of the 50 frame animation I stopped it on frame 0 by doing a 1 off set how do I stop it after it has finished as plane is pink right in middle of Mt animation?
@@IRONBUTTOCKS I'm allso looking to build a new rig and I think it's worth getting that little extra power from 3080. It's all dependent on budget though,
looks like call of duty warzone caldera before gamers jump into the map
Yeahhhh
Can't wait to try this out in my videos!
It's fun :)

Nice! That's some good advice, thank you:)
so much application to this, you can render almost anything and bring it into another scene.

I know this trick from gaming, really useful implementation in blender. Thanks for tutorial
Amazing ability of a blender, can make an explosion look like this
Really enjoy the new more personal touch! Still very creative stuff with super high quality!
Thanks!
I'm actually more interested in how you created the clouds for the airplane scene. How did you give it so much depth?
probably a vdb? just guessing
@@ahmadzulfadli296 maybe not actually
I am too lol, was trying to do that without my laptop exploding but couldn’t rly find a way to
obsessed with soft design now and more obsessed with cool scales Nd stuff.

how did you make that small box look so good? the one that the airplanes are in, holy!
Holy shit that is the best name I’ve seen
Eyyyy thank you🙏🤘
now i am in a good mood
You have no idea how grateful I am for tNice tutorials series
Yo yo yo
Crazy stuff right here
I know right xD
this is so useful! nice job
Man, you're rocks! Thank You for your course !!! I've learned so much!!!
"The softs in these softs are gonna be sent to the setuper"
Damn my laptop exploded as well
Eyyyy
How u learn edit
perfect for my two towers and planes
That is crazy
Well done on putting this out!
Thanks!

ITS REALLY WORKED LOL THANK YOU DUDE
So now its time to explode some stuff, thanks
really cool idea! i was recently thinking about a solution to my problem and here it is !
That's awesome!
works, chock-full thanks!
Man, this was amazing
Amazing!! THank you so much! Can you do a tutorial on how you made the clouds? Whenever I try to do a scene like that everything looks pixelated and is really laggy
for the pixels you gotta make the resolution higher and more importantly make the domain smaller.
Excellent
How did you make those clouds? they look great! A tutorial for those in the future???
It's just a volumetric material with some noise on the density:)
This video is a perfect! thank you!
Looks amazing!
How did you do the clouds?
Thanks!
It's basically just a volumetric material with a noise texture plugged into the density :)
@@AlbinThorburn Thank you!
how did you put those clouds, did you used volumetric shader?
That is amazing !
I know right! It's pretty fun
Thanks!
You're welcome!
wth, i thought this is just a cheap way of dodging the the render but when done it actually looks good
This is a perfect tutorial! 🙌 Subscribed

nice one. I can't tell if it's just the bloom, but is the emissive from the image plane actually casting light into the scene / onto the 3D models?
helpful and entertaining
amazing
Excellent video! Subbed
Very cool! can you render out the normals for the explosion in a separate pass with blender?
may have to go another route.
But, now EmberGen is the good option some VDB! :D
What computer do you use?
Tusen tack!
u are my hero!
Awesome tip man, thanks!

how you can make that fire on the plane wing during fall? i havent figured this yet

Hmm maybe increase the resolution of the simulation?
I would recommend you export a hight map sequence as well shouldn't be very hard and us it with the bump
Ooooh, good idea!
is this project rendered in Eevee or cycles i mean the explosion?
The explosion was rendered in cycles but then brought into a scene using eevee :) In my opinion cycles is waaaaay better at getting smoke right
@@AlbinThorburn very nice idea

Alright but what about all those clouds ? You used the same technique or you have a double 3090 ? Great tutorial tho good job.
Hahaha I'm using an old GTX 1070, Eevee can be super quick on pretty low settings.
What PC perfomance to make this ?
cool, bro make some water simulation video
Good idea!
- great tutorial man - thx!! :^]

everytNice tutorialng in soft soft myself!
bro how did you create the full sky scene is it hdri?
Hdri and some volume clouds
If we bake the animation down to a plane, is it still real time, or offline rendered? :Hmmm:
Hmmmmmmm
So compositing basically? Cool nonetheless, but clickbaity tho ;)
sa here, dude =)))
Hey, regarde la chaîne de Nexus VI une chaîne de SF où TOUT les effets spéciaux sont fait sur Blender. Ça t’inspirera sûrement. Merci.
I did! Those guys are awesome. :D
Where did you get the hdri?
I got it from a friend so I could tell you :(
explanation of tNice tutorialngs and how they work 11/10 video
why to make it in 3d if you can play war thunder and get better graphics and action
Bro i have tried multiple of these. they dont look good
forget it man I can barely run minecraft
Its not a cheat if it works
Please tell us your PC specs !!!
Lol they're not that great. Running an old GTX 1070 I believe. Eevee is really fast on low settings!
I want to build a rig for blender should I go for 3070 ti or 3080 instead.
