FUEL Series 30 Min DUMBBELL CARDIO Workout - Giant Sets | Day 5

  • Some smooth transitions that will really zone in on the same muscle group per set but challenge you cardiovascularly throughout! And yes... a sweaty one absolutely! 😅👊🏼
    The timer will be on for 30 seconds per exercise with the giant set! We then have 30 seconds rest in-between each giant set!
    The dumbbells I am using throughout for your reference are 2 x 10kg each.
    Aside from dumbbells, you will simply need your mat and something to step up onto with only your bodyweight (no weights in hand) and for decline push ups!
    The box I am using is approximately 50cm (20 inches) in height. A sturdy chair or stepper is perfect!

    Man! EVERY SINGLE DAY of the first week i have cried after every video. These are hard and challenging, but there is no better feeling than showing up for YOURSELF and building that trust with yourself to follow through with a plan, with a goal, with a 30 minite workout. Just stick with it! Just do what you can! The most imporatant part is that you stick with it! Pause the video if you have to, drop the weights if you have to, just build that trust with yourself and then work up from there. Thank you a million times over for being the incredible you, Caroline, and everyone one here! I love you all, i see all of your potential and wisheveryone reading this the best.

    Thank you so so so much for your work to create this plan! I’m 7 months postpartum and 1 month out of cancer treatment - I don’t have a gym with a nursery near me and your workouts have been a perfect fit for me- I’m challenged but feel so mentally strong and good after finishing. I really appreciate the structure of the programs as well as it’s super helpful for someone getting back into workouts
    A final note, I really like that your workouts use actual exercises- this program teaches a person how to safely exercise rather than doing a bunch of crazy movements that may not be safe if a person doesn’t know what they’re targeting. Day 5 is done - thank you so so much!

    So everyday I hope caroline comes back with something new but if she doesn't it's ok she has so many FREE WORKOUTS..so tomorrow's is the last day of circut series and LOVED IT..Today I was sluggish and well lazy,it's sat so instead I decide to do fuel day 5..I did fuel when it came out and it is by far my fav..I'm gonna re do fuel starting mon..as always I adore this woman and hope she returns to us soon..I just wanted to throw this out here .nobody reads my shit so it's ok I just needed to get that out..I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR THIS WOMAN AND HER WORKOUTS

    Finished day 5! I used two 10 lb dumbbells. I had to modify planks w/DBs to front planks (bodyweight only) and for the push ups, I did front planks as well. I kept my presses close to my torso and not outward. I also only went halfway down on all lunges and squats minus the curtsy. I skipped pushup at 68% the way there.
    I didn't want to do day 5, but going through the motions is better than not doing it at all. I'm so glad I pushed because halfway through, I found my motivation. Caroline is THE BEST!
    I'm 35 y/o. 3 years post partum. 2 kids. Small umbilical hernia, patellar femoral syndrome in one knee, and under muscle breast implants. Goal is to lose 8 lbs fat and gain 10 lbs muscle. I already lost 25 lbs on my own. Will post my results on the last day!! I already feel my body tightening after week 1!!

    This is our first brand new Sunday cardio since March and I’m excited to do it! The giant sets look superb...what brilliant planning once again from Caroline...and I’m looking forward to the contrast with Fridays workout! Have fun everyone and happy Sunday! Matthew
    PS...all finished! I used 8 kg weights which I found just right! I loved the giant sets and the choice of exercises...really got the heart rate up! I enjoyed the “step ups” the most!! Then I did the add on which got tough by the end and now I’ve had my Sunday cardio fix! Have a lovely day everyone! Matthew

      Morning, Matthew. I didn't expect to use my 2*10 kg today. I am in love with this session. Now I know what Caroline meant by higher intensity. Just wow, all the giant sets were brilliant. Snatch one really burned my shoulders, all the curtsey's and lunges burned my glutes and quads, my core was put to the challenge during all unilateral moves, my glutes died again during 1/2 rep step ups( probably my favourite exercise from today's session) and the finisher just finished me off. It was only 20 sec per move but I felt it in my soul.
      I think we don't realize much often how HARD we are actually training. It is insane to think how many crazy challenges and workouts we have completed all ready. I love the mental resiliance of Fuel and how it makes me feel- like I am in the peak of my fitness.
      Have a lovely sunday, I know you will smash the add-on as well😅 I feel like I gave everything today so I am going to skip it and give my body a proper rest before tomorrow.

I enjoyed an evening Road circuit 20k last night to trial a road loop I’ve found locally which is great news so today I’ll be walking and conserving - are we on legs tomorrow ?!! Are you getting more runs in now the sunshine is holding up a bit more ? - I’m hoping it brightens up today!! 🌞

    I made it through almost 28 minutes of this with only stopping one time. That is huge for someone who sometimes experiences exercise induced anxiety and who has never done a workout like this before! Did day 1-5 with only 1 day off and on 2 of those days did HIIT cardio after lunch as well...Super proud of myself! Love these workouts, really feeling it and seeing some small changes already! ✨️🔥✨️

    Very challenging with 10kg but dropped to 5kg for the squat to press ; I'm progressing thanks to Caroline. Her workouts are so pro and I never get injured compared to when I was in the gym. Caroline is FUELING US to become like her (my aim ! ha ! ha!).😅😂

    Absolutely awesome, loved every single movement. I am finding this series is the PERFECT follow up to Iron and I am enjoying it immensely. I have been working out with Caroline for 2 years now, my body has changed completely, I have never been so satisfied with the way I look, after working out for years with other methods. Nor have I been happier before, during and after the training. This has changed my body and my life. Thank you Caroline, I have never been stronger.     The Fuel format is my favorite. I've said that with each series! The Sunday cardio is just the right amount for me. I still have energy to get to my Sunday activities. I burst out laughing at myself for my first attempt at a plank row to side plank. I bravely used my 20# but did not have my feet apart far enough. Yep, lost my balance. Got 'er done though! Have fun Global Girvanators! Thank you Caroline for sharing with the world Fuel. We are all energized!

    Thank you for this awesome new series! To throw a small request into the hat, I am hoping for more arm and ab workouts. I know many exercises also hit arms but it feels so good to work arms directly. I love it when you throw abs in to!       Morning Trish you sure will have sweaty cardio fun here. Just brilliant I loved it all. Of course it is tough but just get the HR up and pushing that blood flow around the body. Caroline really has outdone herself here. Wk 1 done and what a wonderful week of intense and demanding sessions which we all give 100% to and most importantly we are having fun. Used 10kg throughout except for side planks as dropped to 7.5kg. arms wouldn't lift for me!! Step up was my favourite too as was Matthews want to see more of it. Off for my run now for more cardio. Same with the side planks as the last exercise of the set was struggling to lift...kept the weights but went with my own pace and made sure my form was correct.     Again can’t resist to take a peek of this workout before bed. Since Day 3, I have cautiously increased the weights to near my level for IRON and I thought my body has been gradually adapting to the mechanism of the new FUEL series. Day 5 seems doable for me. Can’t wait to do this💪🏼

    53 years young. Menopause hasn't been great so have lost muscle mass. I'm a week behind everyone but just finished week 1. I feel so exhilarated after these sessions. Caroline you are a star. Cant thank you enough. Any other menopausal peeps out there.?

    The staggered squat giant set was a kicker for me. The finisher was exhausting. I had to drop to 1 weight for the push to press. The snatch giant set I dropped down to 15 lbs. I know my limits/ weaknesses and 20 lbs was just too heavy. Awesome workout!! Congratulations to everyone who completed this workout it was super tough but such a reward when completed.

    I was debating on whether or not I should do the Sunday cardio stuff because I'm not motivated in the slightest to work out on Sundays. But I just finished this one and I'm so glad I did!       Hi...you are right to be excited to do this! As you say it’s a superb mix of strength combined with cardio! The exercises in the giant sets are so superbly planned...they really flow from one to another and work the muscles to exhaustion! I’ve just done the add on too and now I am soaked in sweat! There are blobs if it dropping onto my iPad as I write! Hope it doesn’t do it any harm!! Have a great workout and a happy day! Matthew

    Fuel series is my fave by far. Concise and sweaty!!! Gets right to the point and I’m a dripping mess at the end each time. It’s challenging enough to keep my interested but familiar to Caroline’s precious releases that make me confident that with some will power and grit, I can finish this! And it’s the first time I’m starting a series at the very beginning of its release date so it’s super fun to see real time comments from everyone else too! Love you Caroline and this strong community!!!!

    Another great workout! I just increased my weight to 15 lbs & only had to drop back to the 10 lb dumbbells once. It's great to start feeling stronger. Thank you for all you do & share so generously Caroline! ❤

    The first Sunday cardio of the fuel series. This looks interesting! The first thing I noticed was the slightly heavier weight than that used by Caroline for a typical dumbell cardio. Also giant sets! They're my favorite. The workout goes by so fast with them. Looking forward to a fantastic session!

    Great workout! Caroline makes it look easy cause she doesn't sweat! I have found that if I start lunges with my weaker leg then I can finish the set with my stronger leg. If Caroline uses 10 kg, I use 10 lbs. My grip strength after iron series is much improved!

    After 8 months of training with Caroline, this was the first week I managed to do 5 workouts🎉. Finished up the last three days of IRON, did one day of lowrr body from another trainer, and then skipped to this cardio workout! That was the hardest thing I've done in awhile... and I completed all of HEAT including thr infamous EMOM finale. Thank you Caroline for being so positive and helping me push through a hard ass workout!

    Thank you.. I think I closed FUEL today.. week 1 was my last one, because I joined the group in real time since week 2..
    Day 5 I did with 10kg mostly.. I couldn’t do single arm press with 10kg (done with 7,5kg) and my body said “NO! NO! NO!” For plank row to side plank.. left side I did 3 but right I couldn’t do it with 10kg.. but in other place I could do it with 9kg.. that was funny/strange moment.. respect CG - all exercises you do with 10kg and 15kg..it is amazing! You are very strong girl! Wow! Thank you so much for FUEL series! It was amazing experience 💗all emotions, FB colors, energetic neon pink, a lot of cardio, mental challenges, variety, creativity and support! Thank you! You are amazing coach and great person 💗 Love and hugs!
    Tomorrow I will play padel and 1 day off.. and since Tuesday strong & lean series? I think I didn’t do it.. I need break 🏋🏻

    It’s a been a while since I did a proper HIIT as with IRON, I completely focused on lifting and building those muscles.       Morning Devansh...I did all the cardio and HIIT add ons in iron but this is our first brand new Sunday cardio since March! And it’s well worth waiting for! The giant sets just look so superb!       Morning, Devansh. I did cardio and HIIT add-ons during Iron but I was so excited for the first official cardio since the end of endgame. It was worth the waith. I didn't expect to use my 10kgs but it was a rollercoaster of pure grit, sweat and fun! What a challenging workout. We will need to fuel after this to be ready for the next week! I loved every single giant set, especially the last lower body one, 1/2 rep step ups were excellent and I was so happy that Caroline has started to incorporate more step ups. The finisher finished me off. The last 20 sec were tough.
      What a week, I loved Iron but Fuel is just my absolutely favourite.
