Many of you are asking about high protein meals so I hope you like these three bowls, higher in protein but still wholesome! The recipes are in the description box above 💚 or you find them in my recipe app, there you can also filter on high protein plant based recipes 😊 fivesechealth.page.link/app
Alexandra!!! Getting your app is the smartest purchase I've ever made as a vegan (next to my vitamix😂😂)! I cannot wait to make all 3 of these bowls this coming week. You just meal planned for me..😂😂😂 Thank you! ❤
Made the spicy burrito bowl for dinner tonight & I just have to come on here and say it is SO delicious 🤤 the amount of flavor and how simple it was to make + how nourishing it is makes me v happy 😊 cheers!
Made the Gado bowl tonight. For something so basic, absolutely delicious! Only change - I had some leftover raw cauliflower, sunflower seed and cranberry salad and mixed it in with the quinoa. Delicious! Appreciate all your posts.
Hi Alexandra I just started watching your RUclips videos and so far I am very impressed. Read so many positive comments that makes me want to follow you even more. I look forward to making some healthy meals. Cheers.
Thank you so much for this! For someone who is trying to loose weight, add more veggies to my diet and eat filling hearty meals, these are great suggestions! Please make more! Thank you and subscribed! xoxox
It's from the brand Vegetalia, don't know where they sell it... but when I lived in Sweden I always got my tempeh from asian supermarkets and they also had way cheaper and better tempeh :)
MIAM !!!! delicious !!!! Thanks for a another great colorful BOWL !! i try 2 bowl on you app this week and all my family love so much !! a have also try soba noddle for the firSt time, so so good=), but me in canada we don't find pasta chipotle, we have chipotle powder only. Do you have a idea for what a can replace this ingredient?
Honest question: how do you eat beans and not get bloated and constipated? I've tried all of the hacks that supposedly help you make beans easier to digest, but I just can't make them work. I love lentils, but they make me feel so sluggish and bloated no matter how I cook them 😕 I'd love to incorporate more beans and legums into my meals! I'm always bummed when I watch these kinds of recipes because I know one protein source will for sure be a kind of bean and I have to scratch that.
Hi! Some more hacks incase they are different than you've tried. Get dried beans, soak them for 24 -48 hrs. ( if you have time to sprout them even better for easier digestion ). Cook them in a slow cooker with Apple Cider Vinegar to help with digestion. Also adding cumin will help. And lastly, it can just take time to develop the right bacteria in your gut that breaks down bean protein. Eat small quantities to start and slowly increase over time. Refried beans can be easier to digest as well.
Eat some beans/legumes daily or as frequently as possible, starting with the smallest amount you can handle and slowly increasing. Same with fiber intake in general. The gut microbiome needs time to adjust if you came from a diet low in legumes/fiber, like most people in the west. According to Dr. Greger the paleolithic fiber intake is estimated at around 100g/day, that is *a lot* more than the standard western diet which has only 20-30g or so on average. But it takes time to adjust. I had some bloating when I started eating beans more regularly but now almost not anymore, and getting less over time.
Hi Alexandra, please let me know what can I use instead of chipotle? I love to try this chipotle taco bowl but I dont have a chance to buy chipotle any soon. Maybe smoked paprica will do? What should be ratio?
Instead of the chipotle chili you could use 1/8-1/4 tsp of cayenne powder (for spiciness), and instead of the chipotle sauce you could use 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (for the smoky flavor) :)
@@AlexandraAndersson thank you. Sorry to waste your time I always forget you're in Spain? I can't get that brand in California. My husband just completed Santiago de Compostela and wants to retire in Spain. I'm having a difficult time locating any vegan restaurants there. Any luck or video posted regarding vegan or close to in that country? I just told him we need to live close to a year round farmers market. Thank you and congratulations on becoming a mamma!
Hello Alexandra, I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate your recipes over the years. I love the simplicity they offer. Some may think that your recipes come up too often, but I find it rather reassuring. Having too many choices can make cooking more challenging. When you have a handful of delicious, healthy, and balanced recipes, it becomes easier to adopt a plant-based lifestyle. Just recently, I made your Burrito Bowl for my family, including my three young children and myself, who is expecting a fourth child. It was a joy to see them happily devour their plates. This pregnancy will undoubtedly be my healthiest so far, and part of it is thanks to the inspiration you provide. ❤I wanted to sincerely thank you for everything you do!
Alex you are such an inspiration. I have recently switch to a whole food plant based lifestyle & have never felt better. I do get enough protein to sustain my workouts & muscle growth. At first I was very concerned. Not quite ready to say I'm a vegan, been a carnivore my whole life.
Aw thanks you! means a lot ❤️ I'm happy you're finding it to work for you. For me when I switched it was like night and day, so different in my mood and energy :)
The protein in rice is not soooo high, but its a speciel protein. But feel free to use for example amaranth, this is very high in protein. By the way, the protein in this bowl isnt only the rice
Everything looks delicious and I can't wait to try making the bowls. Thank you very much for sharing approachable recipes ☺ A minor unsanitary thing that I found a bit off (and most likely I'll be the only one) is how you used your feet to close the oven door handle @ 1:17... I like keeping food preparation environments sanitary and, I could be wrong, but using one's feet to touch areas where our hands often touch seems incongruent. Happy to hear other viewer's thoughts on this. Wish you and anyone reading this continued good health!
I just got your app a couple weeks ago and I am loving it. The only thing that’s confusing for me is trying to create a meal plan that’s hard for me but what I do is pick meals about five meals for the week and add that to my grocery list. Also, I love that you can just put any food in there that you have leftover and it creates another meal. I also wanted to ask you what do you think about doing some Instant Pot recipes? I’m assuming you don’t have an Instant pot but that would be like a whole new set of videos for you, just an idea.
☝🏻For all of us that cant eat hot peppers and dont like spicy food--Can you please make a video just like this except nothing is hot spicy 🌶️ many people including my self --love tacos etc but are very allergic to anything like that jalapeños and all peppers except bell peppers
I love these videos but I'd also love it if you could share a bit of your workout routine bc you look like fire and you had a kid not so long ago! Thanks for the content 😊
Hello Alexandra! I m not a vegan person but i eat occasionally tofu. You popped on my youtube and I started to look your recipes. I was curious so i try one of your recipe : your tofu bowl with peanut butter sauce. OMG! That was soooo good! I m gonna try one of your pasta recipe. I would like to know if i can replace cashew nut by silken tofu. I saw that on one of your video…. Is it possible to change for all your pasta recipe? Thank you. Merci beaucoup!
That's awesome! so happy you liked the bowl 😍 yes you can replace cashews with silken tofu, white beans or sunflower seeds. If replacing with tofu I would double the amount of tofu. It will not be as creamy as with cashews but it's good enough :)
I just made the gado bowl for dinner and OH MY GOD it's soooo good! I love making peanut sauces and this one really tied it all together. It was so flavorful, nourishing, and satisfying. 100% will make again! Thanks so much!!
Did you make the tempeh or purchase it? It looks different from Tempeh here in Australia. What I've seen so far anyway. Delicious looking recipes! Thank you! ☺

Thankyou Alexandra for showing some dishes that don't have oil. Please send more videos with oil free dishes 🙏
Most recipes can be made without oil :) use splash of water (or vegetable broth) when sautéing instead of oil

Very first ingredient , brown rice. You use for higher in protein? That news to me. And don't think it's true
The protein in rice is not soooo high, but its a speciel protein. But feel free to use for example amaranth, this is very high in protein. By the way, the protein in this bowl isnt only the rice
Ahah closing the oven door with a foot is also my thing, 😂
