im new to this lindee, just retired and thought i can keep myself busy with an embroidery machine,i have slowly gone through your videos and your tips an tricks are great, many thanks for all of them.keeps em comming!!!..colin. UK
I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but when you open the outlines and offsets tool, there's a little checkbox next to both of them. The outline only puts an outline with zero offset from the object. The offset is for when you don't want it right on the perimeter. So if you uncheck offset, you get only one outline (for when you're making the satin around the G and the first border). When you go to make the outermost border, uncheck outline and check offset, and set your distance.
You're welcome! There are all sorts of hidden nuggets in Hatch! Part of finding them is knowing that I do something similar in another program and then digging for it in Hatch.

Thanks Lindee, after using break apart, you can then edit points as well, which I couldn't before your tip!!

Great video! I am having a hard time making the letter R work, any help would be greatly appreciated...
Great video, thank you for sharing your expertise
Very informative - thank you!
u can also right click on a object and drag to clone it.
u only want to create a offset or a outline and not both at same time or u get extra.
