I have a hatch software, could you share your cheat list? I am having trouble with hatch fonts

I'm not sure what you mean "cheat list." What types of problems with Hatch fonts?

Hi Linda. Thank you for the tutorial. Is there a way for us to download fonts we already have purchased from Etsy? I have a nice size library and really not try to purchase anymore if there’s a way to convert them to an ESA file.

Hi Janie, I'm guessing that by "download fonts already purchased" you mean how to install them in the software? At this time you really can't unless you purchased them as ESA fonts (unlikely on Etsy). ESA fonts are object-based fonts, much like a TrueType font is defined by outlines. Fonts in most other formats, especially machine formats like PES, etc.. are "stitches only" fonts and are not objects. Just as you cannot convert a bitmap image to a vector (at least not a clean one), you can't convert a stitch file to a clean object. Plus, to make an ESA font, you need a special module (Font Creator) that only works with Wilcom's high-end pro software. So although you can digitize an alphabet in Hatch (I don't mean auto-convert a TTF), you still don't have a way to make it into an actual ESA font without the other software. (I have that.) If what I just said sounds like gibberish, there's a better explanation in this blog post: lindeegembroidery.com/blog/item/comparing-fonts-embrilliance-hatch

@@LindeeGVideos No, that makes sense. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I have another question. Once I create a digitized file that has a tack down stitch, placement stitch etc ... how do I prepare a complicated file like that for embroidering?

How do I install fonts on hatch2? I have so many pes fonts

missSunshine If by “pes fonts” you mean a design file that consists of a letter, they aren’t any different than any other pes design. IOW, they aren’t actually a font. You’d have to combine each letter one at a time. There’s a lesson in the Hatch Academy on how to do that.
