The pull comp is set for a fill based on the fabric setting but I added more compensation be doing the .5mm offset. You need to make sure all the stitches interlock so the lace doesn't all apart.
You're in luck there. I have a blog post scheduled for January on the Hatch site that covers making motifs and saving to a library. Thanks for the suggestions - it's always good to know what people want!
Thank You Lindee. I used your video step by step and I've done my own free standing lace design. It was very helpful
I appreciate your sharing of info for all of us!
I see your pull comp is checked for lace .... should it be selected? on you blue candy cane for the "grid part"

I would love to see more on making lace
I'll keep that in mind. However, making "real" lace is probably more like a full length class instead of these quick little "scratchings."
I would love to see a short hatch scratchlings on how to save to the librarys so you can access again

Thank you so much Lindee, i have learnt so much from this short video!
i do this in another software i own. i added a bunch of shapes for anytime use.
Yeah, I can do it in other software too but I I prefer to work in just one program. You get more efficient that way.
would love to have that candy cane shape
hi does the lace have pull comp?
Interesting question. There is always compensation in designs like this whether it is in a setting or digitized in by how you dry the shape.
