You'll find the album in my collection I got it in '95' when record stores were around! miss those day's always awesome having the album in your hands and flicking through the album's sleeve at the pic's!! What an epic time for music!!
I might be wrong but if you have the multitrack you can just isolate any instrument or vocal you like. And from what I’ve found it seems a lot of people have their hands on a lot Nirvana multitracks. But I’ve only heard the Nevermind multitracks and pretty sure the other album multitracks are locked away. But this video doesn’t use a master tape or otherwise it would sound much more clearer. They probably used some music software. No clue how it works though but gonna guess that it’s something to do with wave theory?
People who had access to the stems put them online. There’s also guitar hero / rock band for the songs in those games, the stems are available to be ripped from the games.
So we're saying this is one track, with rhythm guitar and solo done in one take? Without going back and listening to original first, was totally expecting the solo to be overdubbed.
They showed up very rehearsed and prepared for their first album. Didn't have a ton of money either, so any studio time was important to not be wasteful with.
Listen with headphones. Seems like 2 guitars. Check 0:40. There's a slide on the 6th string but the other guitar keeps playing chords. But I can be wrong i guess.
@@carlosmurua9946 it's definitely one guitar. That's just doing a quick slide with his fret hand and his strumming hand continuing the pattern. So what you're hearing is just the rest of the strings on his guitar
Godlike tone on the guitar, distortion part rocks 🎸
I can hear Chad’s drumming for this.
00:33, wait for it..
No
@@Guitar38000 I can hear it though

If you want the physically one ill be hard to find it cuz this is an 86's album.

You can't. These tracks were either leaked or ripped from Rockband/Guitar Hero.
You won't ever find the whole album.

The chorus is awesome
How do you isolate single instruments from songs? I've always wondered....

How come the song keeps the distortion the solo had afterwards? This happens on the og track too wth
Thats how kurt cobain wanted it. It starts off quiet then finishes louder
@@Defrap22 neat, thank you

@@Defrap22 exactly. It was something he picked up from 'The Pixies' and employed in much of his music. 👍
Nirvana was really good a dynamics
so, 2 guitars. 1 playing full chords and another playing power chords, right?
No kurt Played both
No, it's one guitar. Kurt used a Boss DS-1 for the distortion
