    Just put a set in my 2011 cruze, my Highs light up the ditch but leave directly in front of me dark. Hard to tell in the video but how's your highs?

    • @Corysdiyauto
      @Corysdiyauto  Год назад +2

      We've since got rid of the car, but the high beams were pretty good, better than the halogen bulbs. So, you're saying that the road is darker than the surroundings with the high beams on?

      @jimfritz8983 Год назад +2

      Your bulb position should be in a 3 and 9 o lock position. Not a 6 and 12 o'clock position. Check that. I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm waiting for mine to be delivered this afternoon.

    Hey did you have to buy the warning cancelling capacitors that the website offers for the lights ?

      No I didn't. I never got any warnings either.

    How do you aim them

    • @Corysdiyauto
      @Corysdiyauto  12 дней назад +1

      I never had to adjust them. I installed the new bulbs and I was good to go.
      If you have to adjust your headlights, you can do it yourself. There is an adjustment screw on the light housing that you have to turn to adjust your light beam. You need to be parked on a level surface, 25 feet away from a wall. The light beam should be 2½" below the given height of the headlight. Hopefully this helps.

    Happy with LED, But when Safety inspection comes they fail it because OEM says Halogen so that sucks, always fails safety inspection, They keep saying it is not street legal. :( I don’t get it at all..

    • @Corysdiyauto
      @Corysdiyauto  Год назад +3

      That's too bad. I would just switch bulbs out for the safety inspection and then put the LEDs back in afterwards.

    Just bought the beamtech H13 for my 2014 Cruze..no fan tho.. will that matter?

    • @Corysdiyauto
      @Corysdiyauto  2 года назад +2

      Time will tell. The fan helps to keep the unit cool and without it, I don't know how long it will last? If Beamtech is designed without a fan, then it might be perfectly fine.

      I used headlightexperts.com
      They have a lifetime warranty, so we'll see how long they last and how good their customer service is when a light fails.

    how is the brightness / visibility compared to halogen ?

    • @Corysdiyauto
      @Corysdiyauto  2 года назад +3

      The beam seems to shine down the road further than the halogen bulbs. The high beam is very bright! There are so many LED bulb options to choose from, but I chose these ones because of the lifetime warranty.
