Are these still working well for you? I have a 2014 Diesel Cruze and im on my 4th pair of LEDs. They keep going out 1 at a time and the company continues to warranty them. Didn't know if these have given you any issues or not?
Nick Cochrane : you probably know. Just in case you didn’t or someone else doesn’t know. Make sure to wear the right gloves when installing them because the oil from your fingers stick to the glass which make me them not last as long.
To adjust these theres a little allen key that comes in the box in a little bag. Theres a little bolt (just one) not the ones right next to the led strips its around the base theres a lot of little holes that can be adjusted to. I twisted 180° on my girls car and she said it was better. Just incase anyone has issues with how they project its pretty easy to do
I put these on my Cruze and they are awesome. I also have these in my fog lamps because I have the RS which are H8 led and they look great and very bright
Just installed these today... Couldn't get them at the exact 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position but more like 9:30ish and 3:30ish so hopefully that's not an issue lol... Can't wait to try them out tonight after it gets dark!
@@ThatBoyMichael1 they are plenty bright enough! Actually had to aim them a little lower because I felt like I was blinding oncoming traffic! I'm pleased with them so far.
Got these for my 2014 Chevy Cruze and I have to say personally I think these lights are crabby as fox. They look great as far as color and have no delay at all when turning them on...but as far as performance they aren't good...I do a lot of interstate highway night driving and notice they lack a lot of front main focus light and brightness...probably since they only have led chips on each side but none on the front.. not only that but when switching to high beams u can't even tell the difference or get to see farther. Maybe I can upload a comparison video for reference. Btw bro great install video just voicing my experience with these lights.
I've never had LED headlights, but I can see that being an issue. LEDs are by design, _directional_ lights, meaning they only shine in one specific direction. Like you said - they lack LED chips on each side, to light a wider area.
Video almost 2 years old. How did these hold up? How did these workout with the BCM supplied DRL PWM signal? Any flickering in DRL mode? They look nice and bright in the video but how did they actually light up the road and compare to stock? Appreciate a reply.
Just ordered these and the fog lights to try and match my LTZ oem light bar on the front bumper. Are these blueish or white? When they first came on they looked blueish
I did exactly but there is a little problem It works but opposite... the high light work first but if I push the light handle inside the high light off... should I switch the lights ?
I recently bought this kit and I didn’t adjust the pattern on them at all. It seems when I switch from low beam to high beam I notice almost no difference. So in order to get full effect of light I actually raised my entire head light angle up using the plastic adjusting screws. But now I get flashed by other people cause it’s like I have my high beams on... would adjusting the pattern help with this?
I adjusted the bulbs on mine. I took the set screw out of the bulb, turned the base (fins) clockwise two holes and put the set screw back in. Works perfect, pattern is perfect and no one has flashed me. If clockwise doesnt work, try 2 holes counter clockwise. This is, of course, yours was set the same as mine from the factory. The fins are almost straight up and down. They do interfere with the radio sometimes, but going to try and fix that with Ferrite cores.
Adjusting the pattern should help. Try adjusting them and then walking a few car lengths away from the front of your car and looking at the headlights. If they are too bright for you to look at, adjust them accordingly.
@@scsi_joe I did some research, you can adjust them but its expensive un less you DIY. Here in IN anyg color but bright blue is illegal, other colors are reserved for Emergency vehicals.
Hi, Good day bro, There's a concern I'm facing. The concern is that there's a delay when I shift between high and low beam light for alarming the driver in front of me to shift aside or alarming walking people. This delay appears when I'm trying to fast flash/blinking the high beam light. Is that related to the control timer on the right side of light control under the steering wheel or what. Waiting for your advise. Regards.
I did install a x3 h4 50w led kit in my car...I was very disappointed on road. the road is bot clear at all and the lights were spreading all over unfortunately!
How did you like the light output at night while driving? I have the Auxbeam version of these lights and they are identical to the ones that you installed. I found the light output to be very poor and less than my standard halogen bulbs. I spent about 40 minutes messing around with the indexes and regardless of what I did. There was not cutoff and the light pattern was not focused at all.

Any one else have problems with the connector from the LED not fitting into the cars connector with these LED kits? I bought the right bulb for the car it just won’t plug all the way
I have a Cruze as well. It was real easy to find that out since my car came equipped with Sylvania halogens. It had the bulb size (H13) printed on the base of the bulb.
LED's are better for a headlights that that use reflectors, like this cruze. I had HID's in my '14 cruze and they looked cool but didn't have a good solid beam to them (and i had many issues with ballists and lights not working). If your headlight has the circle lens that the bulb shines directly through, HID's are better for that. As MrLagz said though, leds are way easier to work with and should last longer.
So I have a question..I installed leds on my Chevy cruze and one light is way brighter than the other. And when look long bead on the shape in the bringer one is different from the normal one. Is the bright one aimed wrong?
@@drapermike I'm somewhat having the same issue. Our lights came with the little allan key to position the led inside the bulb itself. When i was in my fiances stock cruze i noticed the beam pattern is way different than when i put these in. I think my driver side is really going left. I think we may need to re-position the led inside the bulb using that tool, to get the pattern we want. It's just really hard to tell, these lights are so damn bright (not complaining). I honestly think when i turn on my brights, it's less bright than the low beam. This makes me think the positioning is off.
jlkidd25 idk mine didn’t come with a tool nor is there any screw to be turned on them anyway..from what people are telling me, the control something is bad or the ballistic?..is bad...someone told me that the bright light is hogging all the power because something is bad..not the bulb at all. And the fan is super loud on the bright one. A place in town wants to charge me 200$ just to diagnose it and I said fuck that lol so I might just deal with it..idk../

I would have liked if you would have shown how to adjust the LED with the screw driver that was included with the kit.
Is this plug and play or is soldering needed
Do you have to take anything out to do the other side?
Did you adjust the led position once it is on the housing so it cant be blinding for incoming traffic?

NO
Good informative video. Beamtech should be giving you some sort of kickback because of you I’m about to buy some thanks man.
Projector lamps or regular lamps
I was going to get LEDs, but I realized they're too bright for oncoming traffic. They're annoying when an oncoming car has them, I always get blinded.
Aren't they illegal. I would think you would need the currect head light housing that are built not to blind people.
