    I just ordered a set for my brothers Chevy Cruz. We have tried so many other bulbs and they didn’t allow for dust cover to be reinstalled. We are looking forward to these. I have ordered other items from you all ...so I feel comfortable that these will be the ticket for his application. Thanks.

    Great product! Looks amazing. Interestingly, my Chevrolet Cruze is a 2018 made in the Korea factory (car located in Trinidad), my headlights have a powered levelling function and the headlight bulb collar rotation was not required. So guess some international models have slightly different headlights.

    Just installed a pair on my 2017 Cruze. Had previously a 6000k HID kit and these LEDs are definitely much better. The video explains well the installation, but inserting the bulb was a bit pain in the butt. As said in the video, bulb is hitting the screws. The result is that the plastic tabs on the bulb can't fully get inside the little openings in the housing. I would not recomend to force it. I took a flat screw driver and pulled one end of the opening slightly outside so the tab on the bulb can slide easily under once the bulb is turned.

    FINALLY! I have been looking for a video just like this. Ordered mine! But I have the same concern, the dust cap won't cause over heating? I don't want to melt or burn up anything...

    • @diodedynamics
      @diodedynamics  5 лет назад +7

      This bulb was designed specifically with that in mind, no reason to worry about overheating whatsover! The stock bulbs run much much hotter than the SL1, even at operating temperature.

    I could not get the anti flicker module to fit inside my dust cap on either side. So I chose to leave it off. I have a 2018 Chevy Cruze. Is that going to be a problem ?

    • @diodedynamics
      @diodedynamics  5 лет назад +3

      These bulbs were designed specifically to operate behind the dust-cover, so that is not something you will need to worry about at all. In regards to the brightness, the numbers we advertise are true / measured numbers, versus a lot of inflated numbers you see elsewhere on the internet. Feel free to give them a try, as we do offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee in the event you are unhappy with them. We think you will be happily surprised!

    I like the product and all but I'm not following the part about the color rotation. I think this is something I might mess up during installation. If the bulbs are custom fit for a Cruze why don't you ship them already positioned for installation?

    • @diodedynamics
      @diodedynamics  4 года назад

      These bulbs are extremely universal in nature, and come with a standard collar alignment that works with most vehicles. Some vehicles need a slight rotation to help fine tune the beam pattern. Attached below we have included a link on how that collar adjustment works.
