I just bought a 2018 Cruze LT RS REDLINE edition and would like to know, if I follow this video exactly, will all the steps be the same? I'm not a handy car guy lol but I can follow instructions if they are correct.
It should be identical to as shown in the video at 7:20. Unless, of course, your Cruze comes with stock LED license plate lights. In which case, you cannot swap them out, as they would be soldered to a chip and board.
Hi, Could you tell me wich type of bulb this reverse LED Lights is? I have a Sedan but to gain access to the housing one needs to remove a carpet finishing wich covers entirely the trunk lid. It is not so simple as shown here with the hatch version.

It is just what the vehicle comes with. Typically vehicles come with 2 map lights,. However, often there are also just a single map, and sometimes there are 3.

are the interior bulbs the 921 style? i just changed my reverse to LED which are the 7443 LED. i will be purchasing the kit from your site.
Yes, that is correct, the LEDs for the interior lights would all be the T10 (921) style.

Yes, the 2018 is listed as the same generation as the Cruze in the video, so the installation would be identical.
The only difference might be that the Cruze in the video is a hatchback. If you have the sedan, the backup light install is a little different.
Can you do an install on a 2016+ Chevy Malibu?

If you've downloaded the my Chevrolet app and set it up there is a manual that lists it. I believe it's under maintenance.
