John Campbell was a huge inspiration for me. He’s the reason I picked up bass almost 20 years ago. Awesome to see him still tearing it up as hard as always!
John is the absolute glue that holds all of the chaotic awesomeness that is LOG together!!…..one of the best metal bassists I’ve ever heard or seen live. The dude is fucking brilliant!
@@Roberta_Esposito Bass usually doesn’t stand out when there’s two guitarists ripping it up and a drummer that uses heavy double kick in every song. It’s definitely there though! Maybe I’m bias since I’m a bass player but I can hear it.

Watched this band grow as a teenager from 12 years old I’m 28 now. First seen LOG 2006 with Slayer and overall seen LOG 7 times. This will go down as the greatest metal band I ever got introduced to from my dad. Seeing LOG keep going after all these years gets me emotional and happy cos of how long they’ve been going and I’m happy to witness all of this.
Mark and Will always create these fast challenging riffs and then play them perfectly at every show. I can't even play them perfectly one time... in my house... with zero people watching me!
Took a loooong break from guitar, now trying to play 11th Hour is maddening with all of the triplets. Mark and Willie play this stuff effortlessly, night after night, for 60-90 minutes, meanwhile my hands get worn out when I play one of their "easier" songs like Desolation and it still sounds like shit lol
So mad the only time I got to see them live, they were an opener band for Slayer. They only got to play 4 songs. They were bigger than Slayer at the time for sure. They annihilated the crowd with those 4 songs.
One of the select bands where it sounds just as good live as on a record. A real group of musicians. They kill it live, saw them with Megadeth last year and they should have been the headliner without question. I also enjoy Megadeth, but they were the act of the night for sure. Endless respect for these guys. Can't wait to see them again. What I wouldn't give to headbang on stage with them!
