Grown up listening to alternative and a bit of rock, I can say i'm fairly new to the metal genre.
Listened to the likes of LoG, Gojira, Trivium, Jinjer since quarantine started and I'm glad I did, coz before I wouldn't even touch this genre with a 10 foot pole (I barely understand what they're growling before) but now I guess I've developed an ear for metal and it's now my go-to genre when I need that extra oomph to make it through a rough day.

Metal music kind of saved my life in a sense that it made me search deep inside and realize important things, and made me see life in a different light.
Oh, man... Time to you get all the classic bands... Stars with Metallica and Maiden, and your life never will be the same. Also, i love Gojira too, one of my faves of this "new" generation of metal music.

Rammstein is in my top 5 too, its easy music and not aggressive but the live show makes up for it
05:03 - 05:27 - Art's on fire! That drumming is so spot on! The flow of the rhythm, building in intensity, the intensity of the fills slowly building in length and complexity, following the vocals on the snare then going off beat to build tension to transition to the outro; where he goes into a fairly simple straight 4 beat (with added little cymbal splashes to add texture to those properly listening!). Which makes the riff and the final scream just pop!

I mean... He's good but you can definitely tell he's not quite on Adler's level... Chris is a goddamn machine behind the kit & it was so disappointing to see them part ways with him.

As much of a Chris fan I was since AoTW , This new guy is amazing and Chris's style was becoming kinda repetitive, This guy brings a new approach to the drums and it has made the entire band restructure in an amazing and fresh new way.

I have never in my life been more moved by a live performance than I have seeing Lamb of God! They opened with this song, and I couldn't believe how intense their whole set was. Truly mind-blowing, and I will go see them every single chance I get!

When you're a devote Christian who can't stand the repetitive music at church so you blast this to get through the the same 3-4 songs with different words, that way you can actually enjoy the message. Thanks LOG, you make the 1st quarter of church enjoyable.

LOG is one of my top albums of probably the last 5 years.
@@petethorley5998 it’s their best sounding record production wise imo, but it’s nothing new or exciting. It’s typical lamb of god. It also has two skippers for me, routes and checkmate. I do believe resurrection man is the song of the year though and might be the best song they have written since walk with me in hell. I call it omertà 2. Keep in mind, lamb of god has been my favorite band of their era for 15 years now. Been jamming them since my senior year of high school in 2006. The new trivium record is fresh and exciting with more variety and better songs imo. They have never wrote the same record twice. They did however build upon the previous album and perfected their sound even more. I am also a huge huge trivium fan too. Seen them live 14 times. Bending the arc to fear and amongst the shadows and the stones are right up there with resurrection man for me. I’d give dead men a 9.5 and Log 8/10

Os caras são excelente, também fui no show deles, foi maravilhoso, teve até um no mosh que levou um socão e desmaiou, paramos o show a banda parou também e era a última música, e depois dele ser levado pelos bombeiros a banda tocou mais uma música pra finalizar o show, isso foi na Audio em São Paulo, foda demais.
