Cross RC MC8 and MC6 Tarp Up And Hit The Woods - too hard in Tel's case!!

- These are the Cross-RC Man Kat 1 1/12th scale kits - 2018 versions - with non-standard wheels n tyres.
Both rigs are powered by Holmes Hobbies - the 8 by a Revolver/SW4 combo, the 6 by a Torquemaster Pro/HW1080 combo.
After filming this, Terry smashed into a tree root on a high speed run which snapped his front axle at the C hub. Reference is made at the start but more shots of the damage can be found on our accompanying VLOG which can be watched here:

Love watching these trucks in action, those wheels and tires look and seem to perform much better than the stock ones eh?
Cheers! Yes they do but being slightly bigger and softer has meant some mods were needed. But the stock ones look more scale and leave wicked tracks 🐾🐾

What did you both do for the MAN logo on the front of each rig? Sticker? painted? 3D printed letters?
Hi David, the letters are supplied loose in the kits. They are clear plastic, so tbh we didn't spot them initially.

Yes I think MAN did a short wheelbase 8*8 too, I have drooled over pics of army recovery versions which look alot shorter.
