With green lanes being exceptionally rare in wales, this is definitely the way to experience off roading without causing either damage or breaking the law in doing so, well done with the video, the shot near the beginning with the sun either rising or setting, was lovely, you could just imagine being sat there enjoying the view in a real truck.....
Thanks! That was the sun setting, and I agree - it was a great view. Definitely harder to find places to legally drive 1:1s, I would have thought, which is probably why you get people being idiots from time to time. Also, when their trucks break down, they can't just pick them up and walk home... 😁👍
Dang this video is no joke you put your HC6 through heck and back. The cross 1/12 rigs especially this rig is bullet proof in my opinion. Bare bones and to the point on power and strength in the build. I’m turning mine into a hydraulic dump truck and changing her up an bit also. I got that still under wraps 🤫😉😁👍🏼
So many wonderful shots. Opening with all those hard angled stones and the jawbone. The mossy hill hero shot with the title. Water crossing right into busting thru the ferns. Ripping down the cut. Bogging thru the mud then to the shot from above. Wow epic all. I especially liked the "finding the hole, off camber in the puddle" Been in that situation in couple 1:1s, it's always fun LOL. Those rocks in the second section looked so phenomenal on camera. That truck handled them ease. What a Beast. I loved the music and the rolls at the end. Another great video. Your vids are always cool to kick back and relax too. Thanks for all the hard work. Stay safe and stay tiny. Steve
Cheers! It's great to know people enjoy them, because I really enjoy making them! The HC is a bit of a beast, really - it (mostly) outperforms the MC6 and MC8, even. And the exhaust is surprisingly strong considering it had about 13lbs of truck and battery briefly balanced on it...
Absolutely cracking, even going through the water, which is always a bit iffy due to scale, but it just looked right, need to get my motors body finished and get back out there.
Ha ha yeah, they're pretty awesome. The Mammoth will beat it for sheer traction and unstoppability, but the HC6 is definitely more nimble and better on techy ground. 👍
Awesome - this truck has immense dignity and presence, which makes it all the more surprising when it rolls onto its side to have its tummy scratched. Is that slate you´re driving over @ 4:28 - 4:30?
It doesn't need its belly tickled that often, but sometimes my driving seems to make it feel the need... I did think it was slate, yes, but I could very easily be wrong about that. 👍

Cheers! I appreciate it - I'm glad you enjoy them. 😎👍
I'm just finishing building my Cross 6x6. Can't wait to get it a bit muddy and see what it is capable of.
Ace! I'm sure you'll love it, and it's surprising just what they can do, too.

😎 Great stuff. Nothing like a sloppy bog 🤭. Great roll at the end too 👌T
To be fair, Wales is usually exactly like a sloppy bog...

Was this the kit version?
@@RandyCrickWatercolors I built it from a kit, yes - I don't think they do any other version? Thanks for watching!
what scale?
It's 1/12th - quite big.
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 yes, usually 1/16
