I can't get over how real this truck looks. Long ago, one of the first details I noticed of this truck, was that you did everything in the same color, exactly how the military would paint it. The axles are a big standout, as well as the mirrors. The bumper just looks so well weathered. The glow of the front and rear lights. Adding the long shots, peering through trees at the truck as it moves through the jungle, this is spectacular. Well done.

Thanks man, that's very kind of you! It took a fair few cans of paint to get this all sand-coloured... worth it though! It was the first chassis I'd painted (still the only one actually, I think) and I like the effect too. Cross has release some amazingly detailed trucks lately, but of the 'old' range I do think this (along with the Man Kat and the Gaz) is a big highlight. 👍

Thank you! Yes, it's the original motor, though I fitted a smaller pinion than standard to give it more slow-speed control.
