- Hope you like this one - I filmed it a couple of months back when sunshine was just a rumour from abroad, and I'm never keen on the flat look of a sunless shoot. I tried to get a bit Russian with the mud and water instead.
I haven't done loads of filming since, either... in fact, this may be the last video I post for a while, to be honest. I'm just not really feeling it lately. I haven't given up on RC, I've just been doing other things that are new to me - getting into faster cars and racing at a local club, basically.
Anyway, I expect I'll do more crawler stuff in future as and when inspiration strikes, as I really enjoy editing and miss doing that if it gets too long.

I've been so busy moving half way across the country and taking care of my elderly mother over the last couple of months that I missed the last couple videos. I forgot how damn good they are! Always a combination of such nicely detailed and appointed rigs mixed with fantastic cinematography and very fitting soundtracks.

An awesome build out in the Welsh wild, great stuff! A surreal atmosphere in a crawling video, with the lighting and let's say, 'the props'. The close-ups of the wheels are cool. Thank you. Wondering out loud though if we, the rc crawlers fam at at large and for lucky us, have an authentic "Kubrick's disciple" here in our midst 🎥

@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 thank you. I have not done a video on the other tank yet. I got busy right after they showed up and I have not gotten back to them. I did get too many things and got distracted by all of them. I have cut back on the distractions so I am hoping to get some backdated projects taken care of and get a video of it done soon. I want to make a cool one of both of them looking like they are battling!

These rigs are surprisingly heavy, which I think helps it with that lumbering I like too. 👍
All was well, I was enjoying the way the truck moves on its springs, and then I saw that ginormous dinosaur skull. At first I was afraid - I was petrified - but then the truck effortlessly brushed it aside.
Well, I spent so many nights thinking how to do it wrong. Then drove along.

Nice rig ,I’m in mid wales myself in Corris Nr machynlleth ..I’m looking at the FC6 ..but the thing putting me off is the parts availability for it . I’ve been trying to find parts ,for breakages etc .but coming up short ..it’s a lot of money for the kit but with very little replacement parts I can find .I’m not that impressed if it’s going to take a month of Sundays to get parts for them ..👍👍👍
Hi, sorry for the very slow reply... not been on here lately! The FC6 looks fantastic, I'm hoping you go for it. Greens Models is the importer here - do they not have parts either? To be honest the Cross trucks I've got are pretty rugged underneath and I haven't had any big breakages, and you can see the way I drive mine (I don't abuse them, but they get used). They're not things I want to roll, mind you... gentle tipovers are usually okay, but I'd fear for the plastics in anything worse.
I've actually moved! I was further south (very near Brecon) than you, but now I'm over in west Wales, not far from New Quay and Cardigan... I should probably change my channel name! I really like Machythlleth, I'm a bit jealous (we were looking up there as well when we moved).
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 yeah I’ve got family from Machynlleth and surrounding areas ..Penal ,Forge ..Greens seems to come up short on FC6 parts .but I’ve read on the cross page Facebook they get there spares from Ali express and the like ..so I might just get one for the Xmas period to do while the crap Xmas tv is on ..well more crap than what’s on the rest of the 12 months on telly 👍😂
