Lmao! I’m liking it! Feels pretty similar to the first one. So far, it’s worn well, same as the original. I haven’t noticed any significant differences just yet. It’s a light lighter in feel than the original somehow. The first one was immediately matte for me; the new one seems like you can build it up.
Thank you so much for doing this! No one is talking about this new formula. But I am soooo pissed they took away the olive range, they had my absolute perfect color match. Hoping the new I picked is just as good of a match 🙌🤞
I was so surprised that they cut down the shade range! I know folks with olive undertones have a hard time! Have you found any similar formulas you like? I forgot how much I like the NARS soft matte (though I also forgot how matte it is lol) and have been really enjoying the Haus Labs foundation!

@@smileyshani2252 I do really like the Luminous Silk from Georgia Armini and I can powder it down, it's never been too Luminous for me. Honestly, I really don't wear foundation that much. I like formulas I can easily get sheer to medium coverage with. The power play was easily enough to manipulate with a beauty blender... I like that you said the new formula is thinner too. We shall see!

It looks great on you. I hope CoverFX doesn’t change the numbering on all their products because I stan N110! I’ve never had a better match. I’m glad it worked out for you but how did it wear?
Try D4! I miss the old numbering and it seems like less shades. I am surprised it worked because I swear it look more orange/red in the bottle.
It wore really well! I didn’t notice any difference between the two sides. I’ve been wearing it all week. The original, I feel like it gave me full coverage right away. The new one seems more buildable. But I honestly used like one squeeze for both! I’m so glad it works because I was going to be up-set if it didn’t lol
I hope they bring the concealer back. I was iffy about the applicator, but I really enjoyed the formula.

I purchased it and felt it oxidized on me…both formulas (cream foundation and this one). It was a no for me. My face looks noticeably darker than the rest of my body. Glad you are enjoying it!
@lssmith2001 awww, man!!! That is frustrating! Have you tried the new urban decay one? It looks a bit promising and I used to enjoy some of their old foundations. I haven’t tried it yet, though

Lmao! I still haven’t tried Haus Labs. I hear good things about them though! Makeup Forever used to have my fave foundation back in the day (matte velvet) and a fave powder. Then they changed things a bit! I **think** I’m making my way through a couple of foundations right now lol

@@smileyshani2252 I am obsessed with that sound. Love it!!!!!! I’m a huge fan of ASMR videos where the person clacks their nails. It soothes me. And when I get my nails done, I clack them on anything and everything. I’ve gotten some not very nice side eyes from that. But that just amps up the clacking!!!!!😉🤣❤️

I used Cover FX years ago. It was in a tube back then. I don't dare get another foundation, but I kind of want to try Urban Decay Hydromaniac when it's half off during Ulta 21 day sale. 🤔
I have eyed that one for a while now, too! I mean, I probably should get something more hydrating as the weather changes. 🤔 I used to really like urban decay foundation, but haven’t worn it in forever

I really like it! They seemed to go silent for a while and then popped back up lol. They used to have these blush duos where one side was matte, and the second side had some shimmer in it. They were some of my faves! I may have to get them again lol ❤️❤️

Omg, it has been one of my faves of all time. I remember I was teaching a grad class in the Fall of that year (I commend teachers. Even though I was teaching a graduate class, I was like how do people do this…) and one day I walked into class with this foundation on and so many of the students complimented me know (hell, now I’m like were they doing it for the grades!!??) and that’s actually how I decided to use it for the wedding. It holds up to heat and humidity and everything. I honestly look the same in every picture from morning until the end of the reception. I don’t even know I touched up. Maybe a little powder. I’m hoping the new one continues on that journey, but so far so good!

So far so good! It held up going out for dinner (and honestly freshening up before dinner because I didn’t want to take my makeup off, but it held up in the shower lol)

I got the Too Faced BTW original foundation at my local Marshall’s on a whim and I’m loving it 😊 It makes my dry skin look extra dewy. All I wear underneath it is Isntree SPF. Today I wore it without any moisturizer underneath it and it is not overly dewy like usual but that is because it was a colder day today 😂 Yesterday was scorching here in Alberta. I’m going to love this in the winter, I can already tell. Great shade match and hydrating on my skin. I never tried any products from Cover FX beside their illuminating setting spray a few years ago. I have been mostly wearing concealer (NYX serum & Glossier stretch) + colour corrector because I got too damn tan, and it is so humid I have to keep wiping my phone.
Lol, yeah, it definitely was a weird shape to choose! Maybe because it’s like a square, which isn’t easy to squeeze.
I’m spending more days doing telework, so that means I can wear more makeup and not sweat it off!! Lol I so relate on having to wipe the phone. There has to be a solution!!

I wore D90 or D100 but I just ordered D1 and D3 in both the liquid and cream. If either are too light then I’ll try D4.

It wore well! I did two RUclips shorts on it that should be up. I checked in mid day then at the end of the day. It was very similar to the original in terms of wear. Long lasting, not much creasing, and still looked the same thing over the course of the work day. I had it on for about 9hrs (with 2hrs of commuting) and also a significant amount of time in the 100 degree weather and sweating. It still held on! The shorts went up two days ago! Let me know if you have any other questions ❤️

Also, I'd just suggest that for ease of viewing, having it all in one video is much better, if you're open to the feedback! It would be especially hard for people to find any follow up shorts etc say, a year from now if they're looking the foundation up. Right now it's easy because they're fresh uploads relatively, but it won't be as easy later. 😅

The midday one isn’t guaranteed unless I remember to do it between patients lol. You’re totally right that it would be easier to include it all in one video rather than folks having to go search it out.
