I’d like to see this again, but with... bolt just the manifold on, then place the turbo and finger-tight the studs through the turbo flange, into the manifold threads. Pretty sure the “bad fitment” wouldn’t be as severe as what the video is showing. May be too misleading. But overall, good video and nice walkthrough of the kit. Just think you missed a better process of offering up the manifold to the block and the turbo to the manifold. Proactive criticism.
Down here in the (Florida) Keys there's an old Mercury Capri XR2 that someone still uses. It's all eaten up by rust. Has anyone ever transplanted the engine & turbo from one of those into a Miata? Would it be a bolt-in proposition? Is even the ECU a direct transplant?
i just got a 99 miata and im thinking eventually im going to need some extra power / turbo kit . I wish you had some more videos of the build ! ps check out some of my videos of my build
year ago...but....I clocked mine 90deg to what you have so pipe straight down to the intercooler....guess what....it fit's. Why would you have your intercooler piping straight to the outer guard? doesn't make sense. Heads up to all you guys......put the bloody manifold on first..hold it with a couple of nuts.... clock your turbo...fit turbo.....your teaching others & yet your manifold is not on tight..big 10mm gap...no wonder the turbo hits...done properly there is 3-5mm clearance without any cutting....IDIOT you get a thumbs down TEACH
Thank you so much for posting
The turbo hitting there is pretty common, even the instructions in the flying miata turbo kit tells you to cut there.
Dude, take my money? 2007 miata
If u move the motor mount up the hole on the exhaust side everything fit perfectly
Hello.
Is it possible to install this turbine kit without any modification?
Also, do I need to do any setting?
Its been 2 years how this miata is holding up so far? Any reliability issues?
Can you make an install video? Very good vide btw.
You are supposed to cut to fit the turbo if you use that type of manifold. Flying Miata’s kit instructs to do the same thing.
no your not....same as T5 manifold no cutting..I have it..

you sure that thru hole in the exhaust manifold isn't for an EGT probe?

I liked the video. It gave me a few ideas for what I want to do with my miata thanks man.

hi. can u make a video with the complete kit? im new but i want mo pawa with my miata
Master cylinder heat sheild?
'Cold' side of the turbo. And manifold is smaller. Don't think it would be an issue.
Where do I join your class
