- I get my hands on the New Harbor freight welding fixture table, fabrication table. At $169.99 these are a great deal and i cant see myself living without it after this. Perfect for a small garage like mine. I installed some casters on the legs to make it more portable and i love this thing!!

I bought 4 of these when they released them in Indianapolis. They are the exact same as the Klutch brand Northern Tools has sold for years so they're not a new product to the market. Just new to HF.
I added casters to my tables as well. They tack weld m10x1.50 nuts to the bottom of the legs for the factory feet to thread into. Two nuts broke lose from the legs as soon as weight was applied to them. Not a big deal overall since I have a welder and was able to easily fix it. Just something to note and keep in mind.
The one difference is the top plate on the HF being bolted on vs the Klutch being stitch welded. I’ve read of warping with the welded versions.
Thank you for demonstrating the accessories that came with this welding table. This same exact table comes from northern tool with all the accessories you’ve demonstrated here. I ordered one today- price 149.99. I too used the cheap table for four + years
You made the same mistake I DID!! The SHORT legs get installed for either option.
Page 4, "If assembling full legs, the first SENTENCE says; First, install the SHORT legs!
It's probably because they provide broader support as they're wider! Great video!!

It’s really a fit up table for me, just tacking pieces together, and do the actual welding on a actual welding table.
I feel the pain of too small of a garage. Sadly, I had a 30 x 40 shop in my last house that I truly miss.😎👍

Kelly; The sliding stops work well when you make an angle iron fence with the black round plugs on one side and your work piece spacing doesn’t line up with holes on the other side. Make some inside and outside squares for your fit up and it won’t be so fiddly….I would also suggest getting a harbor freight scissor lift table. You could make a bracket so you could clamp the second fab table to it. This would obviously allow fab at different heights for more comfortable welding, but could also allow component fab under the truck. Lastly, the scissor table could have an array of jig/ brackets to mount any component, especially axles or transmissions for rebuilding or customizing (complements space saving/one tool several uses/portable and modular). v/r wh

They slowly into store's most of store's have tag up in welding section but don't have them or out set up yet all popular stuff trickle in. Iam checking for last couple weeks at my 3 local stores none in Northeast pa.
It’s a great table. Wouldn’t call it a game changer as these have been around forever.

"New?" Northern tools has it for $199 list - looks to be the identical table and accessories. This is typical of a guy trying too hard to get a sponsorship deal - two tables!? Does he have too much money, or is he a Shill for HFT? Notice when talking 'bout the 'back stop' he admitted he didn't know what it was. Should have read the parts listing that came with the kit.
Hopefully HF comes out with additional clamps. Their clamps are meant for thinner table tops like this new one HF now carries and provide less clamping force to prevent deformation of the table top.

Its not a "game changer". Its the EXACT same table that northern tool has been selling for decades. Its just a little cheaper. Its still a flimsy 3/16" table with stamped legs. basically only good for fixturing very small parts. It won"t withstand anything serious.
You are correct. Anybody who buys this with any expectations over and above what common sense dictates deserves to have their retail dollars taken from them. It is exactly what it is. Nothing more and nothing less.
