- We upgraded our welding table to this new Titanium fixture welding table from Harbor Freight. Then use it on some basic jobs to test it out as part of our review. I believe this will help take my welding and fabrication to a higher level as a hobbyist welder. We are getting ready to start a welding class and did this project first just to get a before level to test against the after. In all this table was $100 more than the Chicago, I think it is worth the difference, YMMV. Have a great day and be safe!
Thanks for the review and video. I've been thinking about getting a welding table. Harbor Freight is my favorite store. I think I may give them a visit. You've helped me make up my mind.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and your comment. We really like the table, hope you enjoy yours as much as we do. Have a great day and be safe!
Love the content Chief❤
Thank you for watching and commenting! We are a huge fan of your artwork! Appreciate you! Have a great day and be safe!
good video and job conduit is hard to weld its so thin. i have a table like that from northern i paid $99 precovid. yours has more fixtures. be careful when using plasma cutter i cut holes in mine. take care, be safe and well.
Thanks for watching and your comment. I will definitely be careful with the plasma cutter, I could see accidentally blowing holes where they aren’t supposed to be with one! Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
Worth the money but need to lock casters as table did seem to move a little.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I think it is well worth the price and I didn’t lock the casters before using, I should have. It rolled a little bit and the floor isn’t completely flat so it rocked a little when it did roll. Wasn’t too distracting for me but would have been better if it didn’t move… have a great day and be safe!
Weld beads suspect as sound of deposition was not the sound of fried bacon.
Thanks for watching and your comment. Good tip on the bacon sound. This was my first ever attempt to weld conduit and I was very happy and a little surprised it held. I appreciate your tip as I plan to get better. Have a great day and be safe!
@@CopperBarnHomestead My guess would be you need to turn up the wire feed a bit
@@madkow007 thanks for watching and the tip! Will definitely try that! Have a great day and be safe!
emt tube is galvinised so it does not weld well
Thanks for watching and your comment! That is good to know, makes me feel a little better about those welds! I know you have to be careful of fumes on galvanized but I always try to stay out of the fumes no matter what I’m working on. Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
me using a wood stump to weld on xD
Thanks for watching and your comment. Yep, I have been there welding farm type equipment just to finish a job. Have a great day snd be safe!
