    Nice and informative review!
Apart from the pedal, what really stands out to me is your flawless foot technique. How long did it take you to get on that level?

These pedals are also available as single pedals, so you can use them on two bass drums.
I think both ways have their pros and cons. Two kicks are always my preferred way to go, but this means also that there must be enough space for the second kick (small rehearsal rooms or stages are quickly a problem here). Also micing two kicks live means two kick mics, two stands, more cables, etc.
When recording in the studio it could mean even more, if you for example use more than microphone for each kick (and don't forget the extra inputs your interface needs).
So a double pedal can be very beneficial in these cases.
Speaking specifically for this iron cobra double pedal, it absolutely felt like two single pedals. In a blind test I wouldn't be able to tell a difference between this double pedal and two singles on two kicks.
