That's why Rudy saw Ginger as a masochist. Why would she want to go back to a guy that almost killed her probably multiply times. She also sold to his brothers. Why would you be loyal to some like that. I remember reading it and I always thought people in this world are extra weird. Like their kinks are more in display. Maybe that just makes for a better story when even the side characters have depth to them. Unfortunately with minimal screen time all they can get out isnthe kinks which I guess could be a personality.
Zanoba didn't choose to become a monster rather he was cursed from birth. Zanoba's mother knew it unlike everybody and was truly sorry for him. So she made Ginger to promise protecting him and after her death, Ginger can't break this promise. It doesn't matter if Zanoba kills her, it wouldn't be still his fault in her eyes.

This was great. It also shows how Rudeus does not give himself much credit for his ability to sway people around him to be a better version of themselves. The anime doesn't show how much Zanoba's power as a miko has affected his interaction with people as he grown up. If it wasn't for Rudeus being kind to him and treating him as a human being. Zanoba would have always been seen as just a powerful monster. This is glossed over in the anime and is a missed opportunity.

I read web novel for days non-stop so i can finally read comments lol. Even then i ate several spoilers from reading chapter titles alone, who would write what is happening to chapter's title? So don't feel bad everybody got spoiled one way or another..
I think Zanoba is actually quite smart but his way of thinking isn't normal, but how could it be? He accidentally killed people including even his brother. Almost everybody acted like he was a freak and ran away from him, Ruby could be first friend he had in his life. So i can't blame him for overreacting really..
By the way i guess this season will have part 3 too? I don't think it is possible to finish the arc anymore in last 5 episodes.

I just listened to this chapter last week, thank god Seven Seas made audiobooks for this, I’m so happy.
But I felt so sorry for Ginger after he grabbed her, the poor girl. But I also felt so sorry for Zanoba, he was so pleased that Rudy was getting much friendlier with him.
i have also been listening to those audiobooks. they are great but it is a conundrum whether to listen past the anime

Yes he would have since QR codes were a Japanese invention from 1994 which started to be scannable in Japanese cellphones back in 2002.
