I'd probably have just explained it like this: "Father's and sons have a different type of relationship than fathers and daughters. Fathers and sons knock each other down or out (and send them away to live in another town for 5 years) sometimes."
Rudeus realized he couldn't argue with little kid logic and decided to try again later. That little kid logic just adds to the flavor of the world of MT. Something that adds a bit of the real to this work of fiction. It also shows more to Paul as well, who, like most people, has flaws and has made some choices (both good and flawed) that make up who he is. I haven't read ahead yet, preferring to wait for the s2 cour 2 completion (and for the backordered LNs).
Norn is interesting because she's the most like Rudy in his old life. She's a normal person in a family of exceptional people. You kinda have to feel sorry for her when everyone else in her family is so incredibly talented, and she's just a normal child...
Norn is definitely very cute and adorable. It all made perfect sense to me in accordance to human nature and could have easily been incorporated into the anime with a little more effort. It feels like the series is not on pause but still ongoing every time I watch one of these videos. Very entertaining and enjoyable.
My favorite MT character is Paul. I like all the men of the House of Grayrat so far (from every line) but Paul is the best! So if Norn is important to him, she is also important to me. After all, she is the one who makes him so fantastic :)
I do like Aisha better but find Norn more reliable. I also think alot of children from conflict areas like Gaza would find Norn relatable. I do like how Rudy is able to not only recognize that he miss judged his father. Also do that mistake it has created a barrier between him and Norn that due to her age, he will have to wait years until she is old enough to realize people sometimes fight and then make amends and are fine with each other.
I always thought all Rudy had to do was get on his knees and sincerely apologise to Norn for hitting their dad and he'll promise to make it up to them Both. Whether she accepts straight away or not, I'd would've certainly helped towards repairing their relationship as they both depart. It gets better after she joins the school council. People see her telling off Rudy and believe she's the Only one not afraid and able to beat Quagmire 😂.. It's touching.
There are just so many of these skipped content videos on volume 5 alone, probably the volume the anime fumbled with the most? I know an adaptation is hard but there's just sooo many good things in 5 that they either cut down(Geese's talk with Paul, Paul's perspective if the Displacement Incident) or just removed(Therese, the dinner with Norn, shifted the Goblin Slayer to an OVA, the 2 sisters backstory, etc)
That whole Paul and Norn part of the story is so rough. It’s understandable that he is in rough shape and having a hard time, but he’s still a trash person when they finally meet up again and if Rudy hadn’t came along they would have both had very different endings.
This was probably one of the most infuriating scenes of the series. Imagine if Zenith found out that Rudeus relationship with Norn got completely ruined because Paul was drunk 💀I fucking hated Paul in my first read even if he is one of my favorite characters now
Even more important, biological sister both on his father's and mother's side. He does have a half sister that was from the maid who worked with his family.
I just realized the similarity between Norn and Eris in their uncontrollable reactionary hate towards the person who hurt their respective heroes. Of course you'd hate whoever hurt your protector/loved one. This interaction with all four of them around a dinner table makes it way more clear. Sucks the anime had to skip these scenes.
Does it ever explain what happened to the buildings in the displacement situation cuz in the anime all that’s left is the floor so did walls and shit appear out of nowhere like wtf
I might have to listen to the light novels read. I did with 1 arc with rezero cause I couldn't wait. Don't know how much longer I got. I need more the wht the anime shows😂😂

Is there a good place to get the light novels on Android/iOS aside from bookwalker? For a good price that is
Norm is the normal kid. Aisha, for allher talents, was horribly warped by her mother.
That's why she's "norm"
@@Art_Of_Fischl Grr. Dang fat fingers! Yeah, Norn is a norm!

Was rudys 1st family exceptional?
@@crongo4284 I think he mentions something about them being good students.
@@TheManyVoicesVAthe story says that he himself was an exceptional student… before shit when down obviously.
Rifujin said that if there's a character he wants to write a point a view from, it's Norn's

"if you don't behave then I will not take care of you anymore"
my parents usually told this to me to force obedience. why didn't paul used the same?

I'm not sure you're going to like Philemon

Norn is a good girl looking after her dad
Just so y’all know, nothing past the anime in the comments. This vid is for those folks, thanks
I just ordered volume 10 and volume 11!!!
Sad thing is, volume 11 arrived in 4 days but I gotta wait until February for volume 10 😢
I am looking forward with Norn's story.
