Would love to see Ghislaine return back to Doldia village and explore her relationship with Gyes and the village. Ghislaine and Eris goes to Doldia village.
From what I can see from the visuals released for volume 1 of the LN adaption of the redundancy chapters that’s actually the exact story which is explored. Its actually a LN only arc so you can’t read of it in the WN and will have to wait for the translation of redundancy volume 1
Ghislaine is the reason why I started watching Mushoku Tensei. I saw her video on YT and was immediately like "yeah, I dont know what this is but gotta watch it"
I would really love to see Rudeus learning the north god sword style. I think he'd be intuitively amazing at it, except he lacks the mana body reinforcement

I don't think they'll ever talk about it in the anime so I can explain if you want: Spoiler They were teleported in the middle of a field between 2 of these warring nations of the conflict zone. One of their military captured them. Philip tried to explain they were nobility from the Fittoa (Asura) region but couldn't explain how they got there, resulting in their captor to believe they were spies. They ended up being tortured and executed. To their captors defense, it was before it was widely known that the displacement incident happened, Philip kept claiming he had no idea how they got there sounding very fishy and nobility from Asura, Milis and the Dragon Kingdom were known for funding the ongoing war in the region supporting the different factions in a proxy war, none of those 3 great powers were willing to let go of that territory of fertile land but were unwilling to wage all-out war themselves, they were all hoping the nation they funded won and became their puppet. Sadly, the nation they got captured by was not the one backed by Asura. An all-around unfortunate place to get teleported to as asuran nobles.
No. He said, at 26:55. “But yeah after the battle in the conflict zone ghislane would eventually separate from everybody travel through the conflict zone at some point she would actually discover the bodies of both Philip and Hilda.” So, yeah… nope
As someone who has read all of the LN except the last volume, I can say she will play a role later to avenge Sauros but sadly after that we don't get to see her very much, an appearance here and there but I wished for more, she's a nice strong female character.
The 3 densely written IPs, that come to mind, of are: Mushoku Tensei, Ascendance of A Bookworm & RE:Zero. Densely written means: I went back & read the Web Novel, & now, collect the Lights Novels, Mangas & Blue Rays of the animes. I like the differences in the 4 media. I see them as different iterations, in a parallel world. I'm thinking of collecting Stein's Gate & Oshi no Ko; when these 3 collections are complete.
If i remember correctly, there was a small picture in manga of Hilda and Philip being hung in somewhere Edit: Chapter 50 of the manga. Philip and Hilda we're transported to the same area as Ghislaine, she ran through the forrest with her sword in the hand, then there's a picture of Hilda's and Philip's legs, covered in blood, hanging from a ceiling of small prison cell and Ghislaine going insane.
Hopefully we get this in the anime. Sounds sick. Even if it's just a brief flashback... I'm so pumped for season 3!!!! Ugh ☹️ Looks like it might not come out until 2025.
Ghislaine was always my favorite character and yet she doesn't get that much screen time... even in the web novel she doesn't get much development. Yeah she learns to read and math, which is very important to her being swindled. Other then that she doesn't get much. And I really wish Rudy would have made a doll of her because she is just as great a character as others.
The problem with the theory that Glilaine went berserk finding Eris parents doesn't match what we know. She seemed to have recently appeared in the forest and focused on finding the people that were near her, without understanding what happened. Glilaine might be an idiot but she's not stupid. The reason why she went for the head of state is the same you go for the head of a monster, without head, the rest would be disorganized.
All this skipped content and noteworthy drop in animation quality has brought this anime from a 9/10 to a 7/10. I'd rather wait longer for quality over quality and speed.
Sorry, spoilers...but I think you are right another why Gheislaine does what she does here. Eris' poor parents landed there in the conflict zone and were immediately thought spies and tortured. She marked their graves...and then, she made people pay as best she could. Plus...she had to get to Eris. My question is, did Eris become the Mad Dog Sword King because it was her nature, because of of how Soros allowed her to act or...in mimicry of her Master? Sure, all three but I think there is a lot of her Master in her. I love Eris but a lot of what makes her fun is down to her Master, much like Roxy's impact on Rudy.
I'm not especially fond of Ghislaine. It's like, I think she's an interesting character and could open up a number of interesting plotlines, but then she never _does_ anything. Like, both of these chapters come from volume 2, and that's because Ghislaine has been practically a non-entity for over half the series by this point. Her learning magic, her relationship with the Doldia village, the Fang of the Black Wolf getting back together; all of these ideas just get dropped because Ghislaine seems to serve no purpose anymore other than "bring Eris to the Sword God," which happened several volumes ago and yet she's still just hanging around at the Sword Sanctum and not being mentioned or anything. Ghislaine is just such a waste of potential that I find it hard to really care about her anymore.
