Thank you for your kind comments. I've filmed the whole series (up to and including episode 10) before I set any of the videos live. I've updated the Thingiverse files too. Going to get to work on the skid loader now. My wife is doing well after the very challenging year we had in 2019. 😀👍
And great to hear from you too Del! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your recent american lorry inspired V8 powered rat rod conversion - brilliant stuff! This video series is in a lot of detail and therefore a lot of parts - still, I made sure that I filmed, uploaded and scheduled the live date for all of the episodes before I published this one. Working on the 3D print supported skid loader now (having to design all the 3D parts - my favourite part of the process). 😉👍
@@RCModders I´m glad you enjoyed the rat rod build video - the thing came out astonishingly fast! I recently noticed that it bears the "Majorette" logo, so I watched "The Majorette Story" on RUclips a few days ago. Though it seemed very comprehensive, the video presented Majorette exclusively as a Bruder-like manufacturer of unmotorised push-along toys. Odd... I´m impressed by the fact that you recorded all the episodes in this series before having posted any of them. I´m fascinated and intimidated by the prospect of designing print files. While it´s clearly an immensely empowering skill, it looks so complicated and unfamiliar, perhaps because my designs usually evolve as I proceed, so I´m unused to having to decide everything before I start...
I LOVE the method you remove the plastic by. When I did my Bruder dozer, I used a Dremel tool & cut everything. My method took a lot longer than does yours.
The bit is basically an end mill bit. I have the same ones that came with my hole cutter attachment for the dremels. It acts like a router and allows plunged and sideways cuts with it. Good stuff.
Great to see you back, miss quality content. Best wishes to everyone at home.

@@RCModders Wish you both a return to doing the things you love.
What a lovely surprise it was to see that you´d posted part two of this intriguing build!
I await part three with pleasure.

Thank you. The #561 Dremel cutting bit made all the difference - it removes material quickly & effortlessly without melting anything. 😀👍
@@RCModders Yes sir, it works much gooder than the end mill bit I've been using!
